We went out of town for Memorial Day weekend, and when we got back, our Charlie girl was wheezing and breathing through her mouth, wouldn't drink or eat. Called my vet, and they said to take her to the ER as they wouldn't be able to see her until the next day. She recommended Cedar Creek and another ER. We arrived at Cedar Creek, and once I identified myself and Charlie, we were ushered into an exam room, and Charlie was taken to a treatment room for some preliminary tests. The doctor came in and explained what she found, or rather, didn't find, which led to one conclusion, given Charlie's age and symptoms. She was 99% certain Charlie had a tumor. Given this, I opted to do the humane thing, and she was helped to go over the rainbow. They were extremely thoughtful and allowed us to take our time and say our goodbyes.

Dr. Johnson was amazing tonight with our 11 year old bearded dragon. She stayed passed closing to make sure everything was taken care of! Very kind and certainly caring. The whole staff was wonderful, highly knowledgeable.

The worst veterinarian you can find in the DFW area. Not only does she not care about your pet visits if you’re late to your appointment (because of unavoidable circumstances) and know that your pet is very sick, you have been in touch with her back and forth she will NOT care about your pet. She is cheaper than other exotic vets but if you’re only looking to save money and not get any sympathy for your pet please go there. Also she doesn’t know much about exotic pets she will only do half hearted examinations. You will get better service in many other places and they will have more heart. Hope your pet doesn’t have to go through what we went through repeatedly under this horrible hospital.

I would put one star, but they showed a little sympathy. Don't come here if its clear that they dont know. I brought my bunny in last week because she stopped eating and lost a lot of weight. Doc ruled it to be iritation in her back teeth, but we couldn't determine that because she's too weak to be looked at. So she gave me pain med and recommended that I syringe feed her or encourage her with veggies. Over the weekend, there were no improvements, she wont touch her hay and would eat veggies or her treats instead. After a while she had diarrhea, I contacted them via email and that didn't help. I had to use Google to look up what to do and it worked until she stopped producing feces. I then set another appointment and while I had to wait for that day I searched up all kind of issues she could have and everything pointed to GI. Day of appointment she still said it could be her teeth and I had her stay with them thinking it could help. I part of me felt like it was a wrong examination, so I had to ask them to check again for GI. Turns out she did have it, but doc still wants to get her teeth check out. I'm not a doctor, but if a disease is shown, shouldn't we addressed it instead of worrying about something you dont know like teeth? I had to take her vetinary emergency group. They told me that the GI been going on for too long and they helped as much as they could. They comforted me and I had to make the decision to put her down.

0/5 Don’t even waste your time! They are MONEY HUNGRY. They lack knowledge on bearded dragons!! Huge disappointment. They charged us $70 to hold our appointment. We arrived and weren’t seen until half an hour later. The Doctor talked & talked for nearly 40 minutes basically saying they are still “ learning about bearded dragons” and they don’t have xrays for them at her clinic. We then; explained to her that we wanted a fecal exam done because our beardie has been experiencing foul smelly diarrhea for a few weeks. We did the fecal & She called back the next day saying the lab showed nothing at all no signs of a parasite or any sickness. First off the results looked FAKE as if someone typed them out. We have been to about 5 exotic vets & never had a lab return with no results. She then, told us we have to do another lab because apparently fecal tests results don’t always show up the first time around. I’ve never heard or seen anything like that before. She also tried to tell us to get a blood work done that costs about $200+ dollars. We didn’t think that was necessary since it’s just diarrhea. So, We asked if the second fecal exam would be covered by them since it was clearly an issue with their lab system she said no. Then proceeded to say she wants to treat our bearded dragon for coccidia. HUGE RED FLAG. Why are you treating him if you claim that the results came back negative with nothing shown?! Makes no sense. They are scammers & will take your money and not provide the service. Don’t even think about stepping foot in here. There’s plenty other reptile vets. Not to mention we called 3 times and got no response you call yourself a vet but once you got your money you could care less. If you’re going to respond saying nonsense speak the truth.

The vet who operates this office is beyond amazing and kind. She has taken care of all four of my animals. We recently had to make the decision to let our 16 year old dog go to doggy heaven. She was patient and kind throughout the whole process. She spent about an hour just talking with us as we grappled with making the difficult decision. She truly is a rare human. She is not the type to suggest procedures or treatments that are unnecessary in order to make money. She is constantly advocating for both fur baby and parents. I have never met a vet with so much open passion for her job and those she serves. If you view your animals like a family member and not just a pet then I recommend taking them to this location. I went through several vet offices before finding this one and I'm grateful to have found it.
