After recently moving from Dallas to McKinney, we were in search of a new Vet for our 3 fur babies. VCA had been great for years but we were in the market for new, more independent, care. We found the most amazing replacement in McKinney Animal Hospital. Everything was absolutely amazing! From the easy online booking, the polite receptionist upon arrival, the attentive and informative vet tech, the caring and professional vet, right down to the easy checkout, we were thoroughly impressed. We will be taking all of our pets in for their care to this location moving forward. The prices are amazing, in comparison, and the location could just very well be the cutest building ever. I highly recommend McKinney Animal Hospital to anyone looking to make the move to a more attentive, caring vet, at amazing prices. You will not be disappointed!

We have entrusted 5 of our dogs over 15+ years with the great vets at McKinney Animal Hospital. They are so caring & attentive to your pet and their health. And give equal understanding to how much their human families love & care for our pets.

They diagnosed my 1 year 10 month old puppy wrong and sent him home with medications without doing anything. All they said was some upper respiratory issues. Never ever seen such a careless vet. He passed away within hours of the appointment. I want to ask what kind of a vet are you? Who sends a puppy home when he was barely able to walk and acting all weird, not eating or drinking? Even if the bad end was inevitable, at least he could have gone with no pain but unfortunately he had a lot of pain and we thought the vet knew the best and decided to wait till morning but he made it till 3am. His post portem at another pet hospital showed pneumonia and full organ failure. They charged us tons as they always do and did not even call to say sorry after they got the decease report. On the top, they started to send advertisement emails for our other dog. Such a shame! Hope there is justice in this world and this place shuts down one day or your license gets taken for being so bad at what you do.

The staff is always great, so pleasant and accommodating, from getting checked in and out to the vet assistants. They seem to genuinely care and often comment on how much they love my lil’, 17 year old guy. We saw Dr. Petraitis for an oral surgery and general check up. She was very kind and gentle. I hadn’t seen her before yet she knew my dog’s history which I appreciated. He’s recovering at home- he only has 1 tooth left but is adapting and in good spirits. Truly I love MAH.
