We adopted a puppy on Sunday at the Humane Society Silicon Valley. The volunteers and staff were great to work with. The animals here a very well taken care of. If you are interested in getting a pet, I highly recommend "rescuing" one from here at the Humane Society or another shelter. "Ranger" is having lots of fun at his new home.

They are open on weekends for walk-ins. You may have to wait a bit but there really is not a better staffed center in the Bay area. The facility is great. Adoption rates vary. Often they have specials. They also typically have puppies but they go fast. Staff is kind and helpful. We adopted two. Pickles and Olive!!

People here are so friendly. They all were very helpful in explaining about all the cats they have, and asked me to come more often to understand the cats better. For someone who doesn't have enough familiarity with cats, this place is purrfect!

A very, very professionally run shelter. We are long-time HSSV kitten foster "parents", and their organization and support of a *massive* foster effort is amazing.

This is a great facility and organization that helps many different animals in many different ways. Went on a tour here and was super impressed. Lots of cats and dogs for adoption. They even had a rabbit! If you're looking for a pet I highly recommend you go here.
