I am beyond impressed with the care and service provided by AVMC. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and at ease. The veterinarians, veterinary technicians and the whole team are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough in their examinations. They take the time to explain every detail and answer all of our questions, ensuring we understand the best course of action for our pet's health. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and equipped with the latest technology, which further instills confidence in their capabilities. Our dog receives the highest level of care here, and we always leave feeling reassured and grateful. AVMC truly sets the standard for veterinary excellence. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional veterinary care for their furry family members.
I've always had a great experience with AVMC and my Ziggy has been going here for years. I adore Jeric, the patient care coordinator as well as the other staff members. Always greeted with a smile when I walk in and on the phone. Ziggy had a mass that was growing on his tail, which was high risk. Other Vets suggested that I prepare to say goodbye to my almost 18 year old Chihuahua. Dr. Connie reassured me that he was confident that he could surgically remove it, take all the necessary tests to clear him for his operation. Cardiac and blood test cleared him and staff let me know Ziggy would be under anesthesia for minimal time (45 mins). One month later, fully recovered. He's walking, eating, going to the bathroom on a regular. I'm so blessed to have more time with my lil senior boy. Thank you AVMC!! I appreciate you all more than you know.
I have been taking my cat here for years. I have been to a few vets over the years but this place is the most compatible for both me and my cat. The staff is always helpful and kind, the doctors always address any concerns I may have, and the staff is very gentle with my cat. The pricing isn't the cheapest, but it definitely isn't the most expensive. TBH nothing about pet care in the Bay Area is going to be cheap, especially if they are older or get sick. My biggest deciding factor is having trust in the vet and with the clinic. This place has both of those for me.
The service and the treatment here is so bad, visiting them is so useless that chatgpt and Google can help better. The worst part is that they don't have the medicines required for the treatment, when I took my dog recently l, the doctor told me they are out of medicines at the moment and asked me to contact them in few days, and when I contacted them after 4 days, and when I did they told me that they do not know when they are going to have the medicines available and suggested me to got to another clinic, like what the duck is that. What is the point of visiting your clinic at times when my dog is sick and being asked to wait for few days for medicines and then asked me to go to another clinic. Pathetic experience in simple and I hate to have gone there and have my dog untreated without medication
4.15 Very impatient doctor. I won’t go there anymore!!! I received the test report and had the call with the doctor. The doctor was very impatient, he interrupted me several times and let me go back to search the disease by myself. I’m not sure if it’s common in vet visits but it’s not a good experience. 4.16 . Please see what I receive the voicemail from the vet. I hope all people don’t have the opportunity to meet with the doctor
Came in with an acne issue and ended up with a dead cat. I took my cat to this clinic for a severe acne issue but left deeply disappointed. The vet pushed for expensive tests and a steroid injection without discussing simpler treatments or warning us about potential side effects. Unfortunately, my cat, who had an unknown heart condition, suffered severe complications after the steroid injection and passed away following a costly emergency visit. The lack of communication about the risks associated with steroids, especially for pets with heart issues, was a major oversight. This experience underscores the importance of thorough discussions between vets and pet owners about treatment options and potential risks. I hope you can take the lives of pets more seriously and communicate clearly and throughly with pet parents so they make informed decisions, not pressure them to squeeze every last bit of money they have and get them out of the door. Edit: a separate issue?? You should be ashamed of yourself.
