I love this animal clinic! I was able to get my fur baby in same day for his shots. EVERYONE was great! Such a friendly group of people! I was very impressed by the Doctor, the vet assistants, and the office personnel. They were great with Harley, my black lab. I have found the perfect place for all of my dogs!

Very fast for our first time there. Dr Holt checked out a stray dog for me, gave her a rabies shot, answered all my questions and the price was much less than anyone else in town, which was a very pleasant surprise. Dr Holt was very quiet though but he did have others waiting. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I will definitely go back as needed.

My experience with Homestead Animal Medical Clinic was absolutely horrible. I have a pitbull that I brought in for a large hematoma on his ear. I left him in my vehicle while I went inside to fill out paperwork since it was his first time there. I immediately started getting rude comments from all of the staff about the fact that he was a pitbull before I even brought him in. Once I brought him inside it just got worse. Even though my dog did not bark, growl, have his hair standing up or do any other aggressive acts was treated like a vicious animal. He was happy wagging his tail trying to say hi to everyone and look around. We got multiple rude and unnecessary comments from all the staff and other people in the waiting room. I have taken my pitbull to dozens of vets in different states for many different reasons including surgeries and have never received treatment like this before. I understand that it is not a popular breed and many people are prejudice against them but I would never expect this type of treatment from a professional. Even though he was not aggressive in any way shape or form the vet himself was too scared to swab his ear to check for infection and decided that he would just do it when he put him under for the surgery. Needless to say I was not able to get the help I needed for my dog and am now searching for a vet who will treat him without prejudice.
