Description Haven Animal Hospital is a modern small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with board-certified specialists in surgery, internal medicine, radiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, neurology, oncology, and cardiology when special diagnostic procedures or treatments are required. We have full telemedicine capabilities as the facility includes state-of-the-art equipment such as digital x-ray, digital ultrasound, digital microscopy, and digital dental x-ray.

The best veterinarian in the city. Dr Mauro has been with my Sheltie babies since they were 8 weeks old until their death. She is compassionate, empathetic and professional. Her passion for animals is unlike any other. Her staff is amazing and has been a consistent source of care for my lil babies. I’d recommend her office to anyone. I was new to the city with new puppies and she always treated us like family. She was there as my children grew with my fur babies and I will forever be grateful for her.

All staff (especially Allison and Morgan) are warm, friendly, and professional! The vet always communicates with me directly with a thorough update. I feel I can trust my pups are well taken care of with every vet visit. I love that they provide an ID card with my puppies vaccination record, PHI and photo. I can call any time during business hours whenever I have a concern about my pups and receive immediate feedback.

This vet isn’t like my regular vet that I used to go to, they take my dog to the back show me emails and assess him from there. The vet comes out to the lobby and talk to you about options and what the dog is going through. Very nice. Very kind. Customer service skills on point. Office ladies are kind and helpful. I am thankful to have found a new vet close to my house.

Always so kind and treats my little Chico so well. He actually doesn’t even shake, lol. Always is thorough, and will suggest treatments and do a referral if needed. Always calls the next day to check on their patients. Thank you Dr. Mauro and staff. You are appreciated

We met Dr. Lisa Mauro when our dog Louie went missing from a dog sitter's home. She called me on a Sunday and said she saw Louie's story and couldn't get it off of her mind. She asked lots of questions and offered great suggestions. She said she had some time available that day and was going out to help search. For 3 months Dr Mauro helped us search for Louie on her days off. Her office staff joined in on their lunch hour. I had to ask her a couple of times to get her to tell me which Hospital she was with, because that was never her goal. She showed me through hours of service how much she truly cares about what she does! We were never able to find our dog - but I'll be forever grateful for Dr. Maruo's time and support during our darkest days. Through our search for Louie, we found about 15 other lost dogs. Several of which we brought into the clinic and Dr. Mauro's staff helped us locate the dog's owners. We recently adopted a new puppy and Haven Animal Hospital was the first place we brought him. I will trust his care to nobody else.
