Description The Poppy Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) charity that rescues special needs, chronically ill, unadoptable and abandoned cats. These vulnerable cats will live the remainder of their lives in our care. We receive no federal funding and depend solely on charitable donations. Our organization is run entirely by volunteers who generously provide care and love to our cats. *** PLEASE access the sanctuary from Duncan and drive north. Dr. Steelman has been my vet for over 25 years. Even though Bonanza Cat Hospital is closed, I'm so happy to see that POPPY FOUNDATION is still there to care for the 100+ special needs cats. Linda Steelman is THE BEST!!

Bonaza Cat Hospital is the home of the Poppy Foundation. This is a wonderful place for cats. Staff is terrific. The doctor is excellent. I bring my cat there for medical reasons and the staff is always helpful and very knowledgeable. A great place to adopt a cat. There are many who could use a good home.

Poppy is part of our vet's Bonanza Cat Hospital. The primary vet, Dr Linda Steelman, is wonderful. Poppy takes in sick and unwanted cats and gives them a home. The staff is wonderful. Poppy will rehome the adoptable cats. They are 1) an accredited shelter and 2) tax deductible, so if you want to help out, that would be great. Donations of wet cat food, newspapers, old medicine bottles (no labels please), litter and toys are greatly appreciated. Monetary donations are always welcome, no matter how small. Volunteer workers are also welcome

The love/support the medically-fragile cats receive there is amazing. The volunteers are incredible. Many of the cats are adoptable and super sweet, so please check them out before shopping for a cat.

Poppy Foundation is a wonderful 501(c)3 non-profit organization that gives medically non-adoptable kitties a home. They basically survive on donations, holiday sales, and volunteer help. I love them for their care of these beautiful animals, especially since all donations go towards maintaining them, with no one receiving administrative pay..
