I picked up my Izzy February 2024 here. I am so glad I did. This place is the Best place to adopt an animal. These people take good care of the animals. The adoption process is quick and easy. They even gave my Izzy food and a toy to go home with.

We walked in in a very nice and pleasant atmosphere filled with the sounds of a sweet ambience of calm, music and the chattering and murmurs of various animals. The service lady gave us a very in-depth and very helpful instructions on how to handle animals and what kind of services that they provide in their care facility, and when we were looking at the animals they gave us the same whenever we had questions and concerns. The animals were cute and adorable even if they had flaws and they were very quick to explain those flaws to us and the concerns they had with certain animals. We adopted two young kittens about five months, old brother and sister, and they are darlings and we love them. And Just when you walk in , you can tell that they take good care of their animals and they mean a lot to the workers and they are very excited for them to get to their new homes. They provided us with a care package and have free vet visits on Wednesdays for the community and after you adopt, they will give you two weeks to follow up with shots . Me and my partner were very pleased with the more than satisfactory service in animals, we would adopt and recommend

Probably the best pet shelter I've ever been to! It's very modern inside, complete with plenty of viewing areas, seating, and a coffee shop. Didn't adopt any animals (today at least) but talked to some that were adopting and fostering and it really seems like a good place. None of the animals look like they're being treated poorly. Truly a great place even to just play with some animals that are looking for a home.

I live about 35-40 minutes south of Best Friends in NW Arkansas. I make the trip because of the completely FREE shot clinic available on Wednesdays from 9 AM - 12:30 PM. I have five cats (JD Vance has me correctly pegged!), so it is worth the time to drive there and back twice a year to vaccinate my cats. (Because BF allows walk-ins, I don't want to spring all five of my fur babies on them at once.) My youngest, newest cat needs to be spayed, which does require an appointment. I believe spay/neuter services are also free. I used to be a loyal customer of Spay Arkansas, which is only 10-12 minutes from me. However, their shot clinics are only once a month, are "low cost" rather than free, and those costs have increased in the last year. Neither Best Friends nor (to my knowledge) Spay Arkansas offers the feline leukemia vaccine, so I need to buy the vaccine from Tractor Supply and give those shots myself. Best Friends runs on donations, so I donate $20 each visit. Considering the number of cats I am responsible for, I think $40/year is more than fair. Thanks, BF of NWA! I can’t speak to the adoption process, but I can say this place is amazing! We had such a great time getting coffee/snacks, exploring, & petting/playing with all the cats! The rooms are set up perfectly so if the cats want to play & be pet, they can, or if they need a break, they can easily get away. Everyone was so friendly, & we’ll definitely be back & recommend this place to all our friends!

My daughter and I had a fantastic visit! The facility is huge. Need a latte? Visit the cafe. Need a dopamine hit? Go sit with the kittens. Need to focus on work? Plenty of tables and desk space. Need to wash your dog? There's a dog wash. Need to charge your car? Charge it right in the parking lot. Need a new friend? Adopt one!! The staff is also very friendly ;) We loved it! I think this will become a regular place for us. We honestly had so much fun just socializing with all the furry friends and humans. It's an adoption center, remote work space, dog wash, cat cafe, coffee shop. It really has it all.
