First off to anyone complaining about the cost of the food or experience surely doesn't understand what it costs to really take care of farm animals and to take the time to bake all the fresh bakery items or pick and clean the fruits and vegetables. Get out and go do some REAL labor. Secondly, when my girlfriend and I went there this past Sunday, we had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect the staff was friendly. The animals that they rescued are all looking as healthy as they can be from their previous lives. We bought a couple of tickets and two hay bags to feed some of the animals. There are cats, exotic birds, chickens, and ducks just cruising around the place. Many are friendly. But like all the signs that are posted everywhere, many say pet them at your own risk. It's understandable because some can be in a bad mood or have had enough attention for the day. It was an amazing experience and a chance to see some of Mother Nature's beautiful animals. Thirdly, we spent about $55 in the market. It is completely worth every penny and more. The apple pie was amazing. The apples inside were crisp, and it wasn't overly sweet. It's definitely worth it. The pumpkin creme cheese roll was also not overly sweet and very dense in weight. The chocolate bread was thick and fluffy and was also not overly sweet and tasted amazing. Haven't tried the apple pie jelly or pickles yet. But I'm just going to take a wild guess and say that they are also amazing. So please take a day and go out to the farm it's worth a visit or more. We plan to go back again. Definitely for the food and to experience the animals again. And a piece of advice that I read from a previous post. Don't hesitate to buy the fresh bakery items. If it looks good, buy it immediately. It may not be there the next time you visit. Lastly, for one sign that I read, it had a very great impact and appreciation of the farm and this great family that helped build Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City for what they are today.

There was one goat in particular that I'm pretty sure is my best friend now. Cats. Cats GALORE!! Sourdough and chocolate bread. 😋😍 The animals were legit chill and happy, which is refreshing to see. I'll be back soon to pet you some more, animals! Love you! ❤️

I’ve always enjoyed visiting and supporting local farmers markets. Here you’ll find a myriad of different eggs, jams, produce, bake goods and honey. After shopping you can visit the animal farm ($10.00 entrance fee), located in the rear of the market. There you’ll find an array of animals from Cows, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, goats, llamas and much more. There are over 100 animals on site and food is available for purchase should you want to feed them. This is a fantastic family day outing and a place that children will enjoy. A word of caution, you are walking on dirt and some animals do run freely around the market, so, I wouldn’t wear shoes you don’t want to get dirty.

Do NOT visit if you are allergic to CATS. 8 acres and over 100 cats (we’re told they have all been neutered.) I wish we would have known before we visited yet nothing was mentioned on their website. I was excited to visit this open air market yet my guest is allergic to cats. Within 10 minutes of visiting this open air farm, he started to have a reaction so we left. I took several photos and looking forward to giving another review when I have a moment to return.

I love this place! I always have. Took my daughter and her friend to enjoy her 5th birthday here, as she loves animals. We really enjoyed all of the animals. You can purchase bags of alfalfa to feed the animals. We must have gone back for refills 7 or 8 times! I'd love to volunteer my time to help as soon as my schedule frees up to do so.

Great place to see. This is a rescue sanctuary. If you are looking for dogs, there are none this is more farm animals. They also have a farmers market where you can buy fresh eggs, jelly, honey, breads and pies. The staff is volunteers and very nice. Lots of cats in the beginning that love attention. You can donate $10 a person and see all the animals in the sanctuary. You can also buy food to feed the animals for $2. All money goes for the keep of animals.
