We couldn’t be happier with our experience here. Came in on a Friday night with a sick dog. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The office was clean and spacious. We were in and out in less than 2 hours when other offices in town had a minimum 2 hour wait to be seen. Our only wish was that Dr. Moskop did regular office visits because we really liked her and would love to make her our regular vet. 10/10 experience. I see a lot of reviews talking about the price, but people need to remember this is an emergency vet, not your regular vet so prices are more expensive. I found their prices to be comparable to other emergency vets in the area

Our dog ate a bar of soap. We went to this animal focus er because it was closer. When we went there we had to wait in-line, which is responsible. We waited for 90mins. The doctor seem that she had other intentions $$$$. We asked if she could induce vomiting for our dog. Asap. She said she would, but first she said she needs to do a care plan($$$$money plan$$$$$). So she left. And a technician came in about 30min after with the plan, i asked if they did the vomiting for our dog. She said not yet. We must sign a costly care plan first. They want to focus on payment instead of focusing on our dog. I declined the close amount of $3,000. This place should change it name from Animal Focus Vet ER to MONEY FOCUS FIRST VET ER. Very extortion base. Very Predatory. Horrible business practice. We took our dog to Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care on Tropicana and Durango . The first thing they did immediately was take our dog to get his care. No waiting, what a difference!

I've had 2 of my 3 dogs taken care of here (one of them has been twice). The staff is friendly and very informative. I felt they really cared about my furbabies, especially when they recognized him. My dog was not afraid to go with staff. Hands down, the best care they have received on the emergency level.

Our 1 year old Labrabull ate a fairly big eye out of a stuffed animal and I was very concerned as she threw up a treat afterwards. The girl at the front desk was very nice and personable. I brought the other eye from the toy with me. Dr Amy was amazing. I asked about an exray and she told me honestly that it wasn't necessary but they'd do one if I wanted. She explained that the piece of plastic would pass but to keep an eye on her. I really appreciate the honesty! Hard to find nowadays.

I brought my dog in thinking she had a blockage in her bladder. I told them everything from our regular vet, and that she needed X-rays. They take her back for two hours and come back with an estimate that is nearly 3 thousand dollars and will not do X-rays without performing all the tests, which were already completely unnecessary for the situation. They were more comfortable letting us leave not knowing what was wrong with our baby than just doing X-rays and providing some kind of diagnosis. The $3,000 was more important to them than the care of our animal. While in the lobby waiting to leave, I overheard the employees at the desk talking about not sending people to their competitors and how the phone calls are monitored so they shouldn’t suggest the competition anyway. This is the most unprofessional and disgusting behavior I have ever had the misfortune of hearing. It’s absurd for animal focus vet to say they care about animals when they very clearly only care about making money regardless of how distraught you are. We took my dog to her regular vet as soon as they opened and they diagnosed her with only an X-ray for $250 and immediately scheduled surgery. If you are having an emergency with your pet please save yourself the time and frustration and take them straight to VECC. EDIT/UPDATE: after going to her regular vet and reading her outtake papers, I realized our normal clinic recommends animal focus for emergencies in the event they are closed and you have an emergency. They will recommend their competition, while Animal Focus Vet only cares about money. I heard someone literally LAUGH that they didn’t have the time to have someone come in with their dog with bloat. This vets office if horrible and doesn’t care in the slightest about you or your pets well-being.

I just lost my best friend two nights ago as she lost her battle with her respiratory infection. My boyfriend realized that her lung had collapsed at 3am Saturday night and we knew she was in terrible pain. It was the hardest decision I've ever had to make, but I knew she needed to be euthanized. We rushed her to this hospital and I am so happy with the care that not only Rosie received, but that we received. I was inconsolable and the vet tech that helped us was beyond nice and caring. I knew that my Rosie was going to be taken care of before her passing. We said our goodbyes and I am just so thankful for the love and help of the staff here. I don't remember the nurse's name but you know who you are, and you greatly comforted me during an extremely hard time in my life, thank you so much.
