Description Welcome to Creature Comforts Animal Hospital Online! We are a full-service veterinary facility located in northwest Las Vegas, Nevada, established in December 2000. Our goal is to provide your pets with the quality of medicine and care that we would give to our own pets. We want to help you learn more about your pet's health care so they can be a part of your family for as long as possible. We offer all new clients a complimentary office visit for one pet so that you may meet us at no risk! Our Owner, Dr. Sharon Gorman, is very passionate about caring for clients and their pets. Our phrase among our employees is "exceptional care and service to every client every patient everyday," and she spearheads that.

Our four fur babies 3 feline 1 canine are comfortable with the entire scenario! Wonderful and skilled - we thank you!
$34.00 for nail trimming? And the fees they charge seems like a rip off. Over 90 dollars just for basic exam? What's weird is they charge for my other dog way less when I took her a few days before. Bye creature comforts. Taking my 5 pets to an honest and ethical veterinarian
Our female Belgian Malinois Nala has epilepsy. She loves her vet and we feel so comfortable knowing Dr. Hussey is making medical decisions for her. She is usually overexcited around new animals but when we take her to her appt she is calm and oblivious to most other animals.
I’m disappointed I have to write this review. Long review but worth the read if you have the time. We loved this place for several years. Not sure what happened. First the positives: Dr Hussey was our initial doctor for our dog and we really liked her. We’ve also taken our cats and that was good care too. Dr Franco good too. Wellness plans are fair. Even sent our family here. Dental for our 2 cats was very expensive for extractions, but we appreciated a 2 payment plan to cover it. However, Both our cats were given a 72 hour lasting topical opioid on the back of their necks without our permission which caused them to be high for 3 days; they wouldn’t eat or drink for 3 days and we ended up having to give them subcutaneous fluids…none of our pets have ever been given that (only pain injections). Towards the end of last year we chose to remove our dog’s spleen due to a growing lesion which was high risk for bleeding. A “nurse” explained the procedure to me over the phone which was fine. However, we never met the doctor who did the surgery, never even spoke to her on the phone after surgery. He was there 2 nights and we went to visit him several times; no vet/doctor ever spoke to us…not after the procedure, not at any followup appointment. All my questions/concerns were mediated through whoever brought our dog into the room (vet tech, kennel worker) and when we asked to be able to speak with the vet, there was always an excuse why he/she were unavailable. They removed one of our dog’s organs and we never saw or spoke to a doctor afterwards. Would that be acceptable to anyone?? That was a red flag but we let it go and put our focus on our dog…then the final incident. Last weekend we took our dog in after making an appointment on the app and it was confirmed, they told me my account was inactive for a past due balance from his surgery in October (we paid $3000 up front then a small amount left on payment plan, not sure what happened with that), but No phone call was made to talk to us and they just inactivated our account but they still took out $85/month for his wellness plan since October but inactivated his account?? The focus of the visit had nothing to do with our dogs health or appointment, money was at the top of the list. And Our dog needs trazodone and gabapentin to go there due to severe anxiety and while he was trembling and panting, looking like he’s going to have a heart attack, they chose to shame me in front of other customers!! We’ve paid this place thousands over the past several years, $4000 alone for the spleen removal. We’ve always paid all our bills! And the rest of this bill I will take care of after banking research but it will be the last dime they get from us. We have a lot of pets so they’ve lost several customers. We were good customers, never expected anything for free or special treatment and feel we were treated very poorly.
Yesterday we took our little 4 pound Chihuahua to Creature Comfort Animal hospital on the brink of death. She was attacked while on a walk by a huge German Shepard. The minute my wife and daughter walked into the lobby the staff jumped into action taking our dog straight to the back and immediately caring for our dog. The way they jumped into action knowing it was a family member of ours took so much of the fear and stress away. They where worried only about our dog in that moment not paperwork, payment options, etc like most places. The Doctor was great her name is Renee Hussey. Absolutely cares about your animals and does everything to help not exaggerate the problem. All the staff and nurses are great. Kiara and Alexis just stand out a little more. After taking care of our family member and saving her life they where extremely helpful on the charges and the billing. They made the entire experience so much more tolerable. I have been to alot of different animal hospitals over my 44 years of life and this place hands down is the best place I've ever been too out of three or 4 states. The care and professionalism is over the top. Thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts. If something bad happens to one of your animals/family member creature comfort is the place to take them. They specialize in almost all animals as long as they are not venomous. Would of given 6 stars if I could have.
I absolutely love Creature Comforts Animal Hospital. At anytime I took my dog Arc my baby there the team was very perfessional, caring and gentle with him. But I will no longer be taking him there because he died. Arc my baby was only 4 years young. He was hit extremely hard by a car. I love and will miss him dearly. 💙
