THREE vets later, we finally found our home. I am seriously so delighted. My dog means everything to us and I believe we are finally in good hands. Sarasota Animal Medical Center is right off Fruitville but tucked away in lucious greenery. It’s quiet and clean and the rooms are COZY and make you feel at home. From my experience with the front desk, in person and in the phone, to the vet techs to the Doctor, everyone was phenomenal. They were welcoming, caring, didn’t rush us, and answered all my questions. They didn’t push anything on me that my dog didn’t need and put me at ease about a split toe nail. After doing much research, I chose this Vet because they have a gentle holistic approach and will start with that unless something more is needed. Jaimie was especially great. This was such a wonderful first experience. I won’t dread going to vet now that I know we have a team that truly cares. Thank you Sarasota Animal Medical Center🐾💗

I recently had the pleasure of bringing one of my beloved dachshunds to Sarasota Animal Medical Center for treatment, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care provided by Dr. Sarena von der Heyde and her team. My dachshund was experiencing stiffness and pain in his back, and I was immediately impressed by Dr. von der Heyde's expertise and compassion. From the moment we arrived, she took the time to thoroughly assess my dog's condition and explain the treatment options available. One of the highlights of our visit was the massage and cold laser therapy administered by Dr. von der Heyde. Not only was my dog made to feel incredibly relaxed and comfortable during the session, but the treatment also provided noticeable relief from his discomfort. It was heartwarming to see my furry friend respond so positively to the care he received. What truly set Sarasota Animal Medical Center apart was the attention to detail and personalized approach to treatment. Dr. von der Heyde went above and beyond to ensure my dog's comfort and well-being, even going so far as to provide him with a pair of funny glasses during the cold laser therapy. It was clear that she and her team genuinely care about the animals in their care, and that level of dedication is truly commendable. Overall, my experience at Sarasota Animal Medical Center was nothing short of exceptional. By far the best veterinarian in the area. Always very friendly and available to help out in difficult situations. We took our poochie there many times over the years and we were very happy with the care that he received. Thank you very much Dr Anne for all the help you've given us. By the way, we always felt that she was very fair with the pricing and truly cared about her customers. Just want to update my review and say that Ann and her staff continues to be an amazing Veterinary Clinic. I really appreciate the care and interest they have in our doggy. Thank you so much for your help over the years. UPDATE. We recently took our dog in for a vaccine and I just thought the price was very fair in fact much less than I was thinking so I was very happy about that and then also the receptionist Pat was so friendly and helpful we were very impressed with her professionalism. We also purchased the Next Guard Plus and she helped us to find a $35 rebate for the purchase and I also compared prices to other places and they had the best price

I am still sitting in the office and I can’t get over how pleased I am with the staff here. Everyone is SO welcoming and caring. The small house setting is so tranquil for animals and owners. Dr. Green is fabulous. Absolutely fabulous. Her personality is fantastic. She is so knowledgeable, and she is so reassuring. Her technician was so kind and helpful with starting the exam. I would highly recommend Sarasota Animal Medical Center to anyone, after living here for 16 years, I’ve found the vet I am going to stick with. Thank you all!
