Our puppy Gracie did very well at the animal hospital. She was treated with an infection on the upper side of her jaw. They were patient and kind. Absolutely would recommend them.

South Side Animal does a wonderful job taking care of our Lincoln. They detected early on he had some hip issues. This has helped us prolong our boys life. Had a wonderful experience today. Lincoln received his annual shots and they clipped his nails. We also get his special food to help his joints here.

I really wanted to like this place, the staff was amazing and they were so welcoming. Brought my 4 month old Goldendoodle in, Moose, I noticed his ear was very dirty/waxy and I mentioned this to vet. She said it normal and moved on. Next visit it got worse and I insisted her check it. It was an ear infection. While we were there I noticed his eyes were very watery and wanted her to check, she said it was a doodle thing, they usually have watery eyes. His eye got worse and now is swollen/crusted over with yellow/green gunk. Two eye infections. Please go with your gut and say something when your dog isn’t acting/looking okay. We changed vets and now go to a vet that listens to my concerns.

I will never go to another veterinarian as long as I can get to SSAH. I have a mean/skittish/hates humans cat that is nearly impossible to get in a carrier for transport. He had a terrible mouth issue and they got me a quick appointment, which I missed because it took so long to catch him. They not only squeezed his exam in once we got there, but also the surgery he needed because he was in so much pain. And i love the separate entrances and lobbies for cats and dogs!
