We noticed our cat Pickles was using the litter box frequently without urinating. We called our vet, but unfortunately, they couldn't fit him in that day. However, they strongly advised he be seen by a vet somewhere that day. A friend who is a veterinarian recommended IAUC. She knew the clinic's owners and veterinarians and spoke highly of them. While it was a bit of a drive from Noblesville, it turned out to be a lifesaver, saving us a significant amount of money. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and questioned to assess Pickles' condition. We were then led to an exam room for a more thorough evaluation. Once finished, I was informed a doctor would be with us in about 15 minutes and that I could conveniently fill out the paperwork on my phone using a QR code. Thankfully, all my information was saved in Google, so the form populated automatically. This process was not only efficient but also professional and prioritized Pickles' well-being. Dr. Murphy arrived as expected (I admittedly wasn't paying close attention to the time) and began the examination while asking me questions. Despite Pickles' weight, Dr. Murphy diagnosed him with a urinary obstruction. He explained the potential causes, treatment options, and associated costs in a clear and comprehensive way. Throughout the entire process, I felt well-informed and confident that Pickles was receiving the best possible care. Pickles required surgery to remove the blockage and remained hospitalized for six hours afterward. I braced myself for a hefty bill, especially compared to MedVet's prices. To my surprise, the final cost was significantly lower than I anticipated. The entire experience gave me the impression that Dr. Murphy and his team would genuinely help animals for free if they could. Never once did I feel like they were overcharging. We love our cats dearly, and IAUC will be our go-to clinic for any future urgent care needs, even though it's a 45-minute drive.

We live in Franklin and no one was open/ available on a Sunday. I called around and the Whiteland vet clinic referred me to this place. I can’t say enough good things about this urgent care. We came in because our dog had a nasty laceration on his back paw. He is a very aggressive dog and naturally we are always very stressed bringing him to any vet, because he is not very friendly. The staff here not only made us feel calm, but they handled him so well, I could literally cry. They were so quick and amazing with his care. Thank you for taking care of our boy. We appreciate you so so much. Recommending y’all to everyone I know. Side note: the interior is so tasteful and beautifully done.

Our experience was absolutely amazing. Dr. Klobusnik was very transparent with us about treatment options and cost. All of the staff we interacted with were kind, friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful, too. It was very clean and well managed. We were seen in a very timely manner and our cat was treated quickly, too. If we ever need urgent pet care again, we will definitely be back.

Indianapolis Animal Urgent Care was absolutely wonderful. I took my cat Smudge in twice to get him checked out because he wasn't feeling good. We were helped very quick and the whole staff was extremely kind. Despite this being an urgent care place, the X-Ray Smudge needed was VERY reasonable cost wise (it was $80 cheaper than the quote I received from CityWay Vet).They were super gentle and patient with him. I also called a couple of times with some questions, and they were very helpful on the phone as well. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely return if Smudge has any issues again (He's all better now!!). Thank you so much Cass, Dr. K, Dr. Murphy, and the whole IAUC staff!

I took my cat Bubby here when he started exhibiting signs of diabetic ketoacidosis. The check-in process was super easy and the vet tech took us back right away and got him started on some tests. Dr. K was super knowledgeable and answered my numerous questions with great patience and care. Bubby needed to be moved to an animal hospital and Dr. K called the hospital ahead of time and sent the records over immediately with very detailed notes, so it made the transition to their care seamless. I’m so thankful that such a great emergency vet exists just a few minutes from where I live downtown. I can’t say enough great things about this place!

My sweet pup ate some toys last weekend- and after being unsuccessful with getting her in at a different emergency vet, we brought her here & Dr. K was able to get her in immediately, get an Xray, and determine that she needed surgery all within an hour. (Not to mention- the day after Christmas). He performed surgery that day, and called me with updates through the whole day. I took her to an overnight facility for monitoring overnight and brought her home in the morning, but she unfortunately never started to get back to herself the next day. I brought her back to Dr. K who got her back on meds and fluids immediately, and although she didn’t end up pulling through, he was by her side until the very end. He performed CPR as soon as he noticed her breathing slow down while he was laying with her. He even did a necropsy free of charge so that we could try to determine what went wrong. Thank you Dr. K, for taking care of my girl and doing everything you could. My Nala could not have been in better hands. The whole team was so supportive and patient and kind with me, and let me visit with her for as long as I needed to after she crossed over. She was my everything and I am so thankful that I decided to bring her here. I miss her more than anything but if there is anything I can do for other pet parents it is to tell you to trust this place with your baby. They care so much about you and about your animal.
