My eldest fur child decided today she was going to wrap her blanket around her leg. We woke up to swelling and her in pain. Got her to the ER and these guys were kind, compassionate and got me in as soon as possible. They were very thorough from the instant I walked in and made sure to communicate at every step. They checked in often and truly made it known they cared. Thank you to the nurse Jillian and Dr Schmidt! Yall are amazing (as is your team)! :) Roxie and I are so very appreciative.

I recently brought my cat, Yoshi, here in the middle of the night when I realized she was possibly having an allergic reaction to a vaccine she'd gotten earlier in the day at our regular vet. I was so scared and worried for her, but Dr. Potts and Kay were so, SO helpful and clear and encouraging! Yoshi was fine, but was having a mild reaction, and they sent her home with a care regimen for any ongoing symptoms. Now, a few days later, she's totally back to normal, causing chaos, following me around, and destroying her favorite toys and I couldn't be happier. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I'm so grateful for you!

My dog was very sick and couldn’t hold food down. The staff were caring and took their time examining her. They were reasonable in what treatment they suggested given her symptoms. They brought snacks around since it was a busy night and it was taking longer than expected (meaning someone else’s animal needed more help than mine- a good thing to remember at an emergency vet). Thank you!

I knew it was time for my lifelong friend to rest and tried to have courage to call and ask places for information. The lady who answered the phone was very understanding despite my inability to speak properly while trying not to cry. She told me all the options calmly, slowly, and thanked me for calling. Other places were not as gentle as this and I am very grateful for those that show this compassion and respect. I spent the next week caring for my baby kiba and trying to find acceptance in my heart but nothing can really help us be ready. When we brought him in, it was my birthday and I knew I would be able to honor him and remember him forever as easily as my own birthday. The staff were very gentle and loving to him despite his appearance and condition and they allowed us all the private time we needed. We said our goodbyes and they kept him wrapped in the blanket respectfully how I had left him. It's been a few weeks and I am still processing everything and having moments of abrupt sadness and memories. I received a card in the mail personally signed by the care staff which was above and beyond anything I ever expected and was incredibly kind. No matter what, I would've waited any wait time for him to have had the quality love and respect that he had here. This staff deals every bit as much with humans as they do other animals and they work with them in some of the worst or scary moments in those humans or animals lives with the most compassion. Thank you for everything you do.

I wouldn’t suggest taking your pet there. They just want to see how much money they can get out of you while giving you the minimum care for your feline. I don’t understand why my pet was diagnosed with a terminal illness but no pain meds were issued. And the fact that she was shaved in multiple places as if they couldn’t find her veins. Nevertheless seems like a party was going on in the back. You’ll be restricted from seeing how they handle your beloved feline. Unless you have thousands of dollars to make it rain on the vets don’t expect to get to get your feline the treatment that they need. I will not be returning to this place. $500 dollars and all I walked away with was a diagnosis, an IV, and a sicker and more distressed feline. Stop pressuring people into getting your beloved one euthanized. Not everyone believes in putting their pet down‼️ I suggest you to find a place that actually cares more about the pets than the money.

We really didn’t want to visit this emergency center but unfortunately MedVet was down a doctor & it was after hours for our normal vet. One of the biggest reasons I did not want to go hear is because of the personal horror stories I’ve heard from my own clients who have unfortunately had to bring their animals here. Had there been somewhere closer to our home we would have gone elsewhere. Our dog had just had his eye removed about 3-5days prior and he ripped his incision back open. When we arrived there was a weird attitude, but it’s an emergency vet and figured they are overworked so we ignored it. Once we signed in, apparently a wide open eye socket is not quite an emergency and we waited 2 hours. Once we started seeing the techs/vet there was massive attitude and judgement as to why we took his eCollar off. Once they were informed that the ophthalmologist didn’t send him home with one and they told us it wasn’t standard procedure they started in on the passive aggressive remarks toward his ophthalmologist. Unprofessional. The vet herself was very sweet and kind but unfortunately very uneducated on the silicone implants placed in his eye to keep his eye socket from sinking in after the removal. The vet even stated that she’d wait for his ophthalmologist to open back up because she’s never heard of an implant being placed, that she doesn’t offer that for her enucleations because she didn’t know what that meant, what they were and that the ophthalmologist was just price gouging us. (I feel like this is standard, our cat had to have an eye removed 6 years ago at a normal vets office and they placed a silicone implant.) To top it off, every time a question was asked to the tech she’d roll her eyes. It just wasn’t a great experience and confirmed what I’ve heard from many others. If you can make the drive to MedVet, it’s my biggest recommendation! They are hands down the best and have always gone the extra mile.
