I have been a long time “parent” of Dr V and his staff going back more than 20 years. You won’t find a better, more qualified and compassionate group of providers anywhere in Las Vegas! They understand the crisis you are going through with your pet but unlike other clinics, they don’t take advantage of the situation to inflate costs in your time of need. I highly recommend this practice to anyone that loves their pet as much as we do!

Wow! This is an excellent clinic to take your fur babies. Our little dog Cora had so many issues we needed to catch up on that were delayed with Covid and my husband's transplant. Wonderful compassionate care. Nice clean office. Pleasant helpful staff. Reasonable office visits. We really COULD NOT be happier. They also have great availability of appointments. We saw Dr. Christian Mendez who was extremely patient and knowledgeable. We are SO Excited to find your office. Y'all really knocked it out of the park!!! 10/10.

Please get a second opinion!!!!! 🚩🚩🚩🚩I have a nine-year old Labrador that has only visited this clinic since his first nine week appointment when I brought him home. Every single vaccine he has ever received or any medication he has ever taken is through this veterinary clinic. My dog had abdominal pain and a swollen abdomen. We suspected a bowel obstruction since labs are prone to a condition of “see food”…. anything they see they will eat. The first step was to take x-ray. At first glance, they told me his spleen was enlarged and he only had a couple weeks to live but as long as this cancer did not metastasize to his body he could possibly live a couple months. We took another x-ray of his chest, and there was no signs of cancer or metastasis so the best course of action was to remove the spleen. We immediately opted in for the emergency abdominal surgery. They explained that he could possibly need a blood transfusion and it was a very risky surgery because the spleen tends to bleed a lot. When the vet called me back four hours later he explained that it was an interesting surgery….. and he had a few questions for me. My only concern was is my dog alive. He answered the question. My dog was alive! Then proceeded to ask me if my dog was still intact. I was very confused that he did not know that my dog still had his testicles because he has never been to another vet. He continued to explain that I should not be alarmed about the incision because initially they started up high in between where his ribs meet closer to where the spleen is located but he didn’t find anything in his abdomen, so they continued the incision down, and entered another cavity of his body and realized his testicles were enlarged and retained. I was very relieved that my my dog did not have cancer and could come home. I was obviously upset about the initial diagnosis, but I was relieved about his future prognosis. I was happy that we were on the up hill but he did not do well the recovery process. He has never whined, whimpered, or complained even when his abdomen was rockhard from his retained testicles but the pain medication prescribed to him made him cry constantly and we didn’t sleep for two days or the two nights following. I called back to follow up and asked for anxiety medication to balance out the pain medication side effects. The vet agreed with everything I was explaining about my labs reaction, but as I was leaving, the front desk tried to talk me out of his anxiety medication and suggested I should just lower his pain medication and give him Benadryl to sedate him . I did not budge, and finally received the prescription for the anxiety medication. He finally slept for eight hours that night. They prescribed a cone but he was able to get past it and he licked his incision which caused infection immediately. We came back the next day and they give us a larger cone. And the response I received was “oh idk why we didn’t give you the larger one in the first place it’s the same price”. Past that I noticed he was healing over his staples from his incision, so I called to ask when they should be removed, and if we could make a follow up appointment. They never even called to make sure he was okay or schedule the staple removal. I am so disappointed because the previous owner Dr. Wilson was a wonderful man that recognized my pet by NAME and always asked me who I was. He also palpated his testicles every time we came in and now I realize how important it was. When you prepare to tell somebody that their family pet is going to die I would expect that you would take the time to review their medical history. Understandably, everybody makes mistakes and I might be inclined to wash away the situation if they made an effort to show they cared about my pet and followed up after his surgery but I I called them….. multiple times.

From Raven who answered the phone and set our appointment to Dr. Lucas treated us with such compassion and care. It was an amazing experience. My dog Eugene was attacked by two other dogs. He was scared and in pain. Everyone was so reassuring that he will make a full recovery.

Although this Vet clinic is far from us in Henderson, we go there because of the great Vets and the organization of the front office staff. After trying every vet within a 5 mile radius of us and not pleased with any of them.... we decided we will make the drive to go here. It's just worth it ! Thanks to Amanda at Retired to Rescue Bulldog rescue, for informing us of this facility. Thay are the best !

Been seeing Dr. V for my entire dog's life (she is 10 now) and we've recently gotten a cat that he's been caring for. I live across town and still drive the extra mile to see Dr. V. We've tried closer places and no one compares. You can really tell he loves animals and despite not liking men, my dog always feels at ease around him. He never tries to squeeze extra money out of you and he always tells it straight up. Truly the best vets I've ever come across. We love you Dr. V!
