It's hard to believe it's an all volunteer-ran organization because they are small and mighty, just like their wards. Food pantries, spa days, foster care, rescuing dumped animals, animal welfare & education, and much more is accomplished in this little group. Buns are well cared for, spayed/neutered, and the adoption fees are very reasonable for all the services provided. I drive back to IHRS to obtain bulk high-quality hay for my buns that is a fraction of the price of the stores and much cleaner. A fantastic organization with a huge heart for small animal rescue & placement.

We adopted our first house rabbit from IHRS and they were so helpful throughout the whole process! They are supportive of your preferences when it comes to bunny personality and super helpful with education and continuing care. I would highly recommend going through IHRS if you’re looking for a fluffy companion ❤️

I adopted my bunnies from IHRS. It is a non profit organization run completely by volunteers. They are generous with their expertise and make sure adopters are ready to take care of a bunny. All the bunnies that get adopted out are spayed and neutered. So many bunnies have been helped by this group.

I got my bunny here 8 years ago, he was cage free and my best friend for so long. He passed due to an unknown enlarged heart and I miss him like crazy. Indiana house rabbit society helped me with questions I had and gave me my best friend and 8 years of glorious bunny-loving-memories. They are a great resource for house rabbits and responsible house rabbit lovers. Keep in mind please they are very high maintenance pets, not a first pet for a child. They are very costly and aren’t similar to a cat or dog. ♥️🐇

I tried emailing this business and calling because I had found a rabbit that was abandoned. I did not have the means to take care of it and it ended up passing away today. I tried contacting multiple places and each one referred me to this business. Because of these people a rabbit is dead! This is horrid behavior and I'll make sure others know about this business and how they act towards animals.
