Description FIDO (Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside) is a non-profit dog welfare organization focused on improving the quality of life of outside dogs. FIDO works in the neighborhoods of Marion County to offer information and low-cost or free resources to income-qualified dog owners. Resources include secure fenced enclosures, dog houses, inside training crates, and other basic dog supplies. The FIDO warehouse is open to the public twice each week for basic pet supplies, including pet food, at a nominal fee for income-qualified dog and cat owners living in Marion County. Spay/neuter is required and is provided by FIDO in order to receive all other FIDO services.

A million thanks to FIDO. I've been fighting a rare cancer for quite a while now and have multiple other chronic illnesses as well. Trying to survive on medical disability, despite working since I was 13, has been extraordinarily difficult. I can't imagine walking this difficult path without my cat Shiloh. He literally keeps me going. All the volunteers at FIDO truly care about people and our pets. They are always gracious enough to even load the food and litter into my car, which I so appreciate. (Often it's difficult to do these kinds of things when one just doesn't feel well!) Thank you so much for helping to keep Shiloh fed, giving him litter, and flea meds at very reasonable prices. It's so very appreciated!

Love the people at FIDO. Always kind and helpful. They do so much for animals and pet owners in the community.
