Description Cats Haven is a no-kill and mostly free roaming sanctuary specializing in primarily special needs and elderly cats. Volunteers and visitors are welcome. Our sanctuary is a non-profit and relies on donations from the public. We do not accept cats from the public but instead work with other animal organizations to give unadoptable cats a place to live out their lives.

Visited years ago, still haunts me. So many poor cats. I couldn’t breathe in that house, the ammonia smell was so intense. The owner told me I must be allergic to cats. I wanted to adopt an elderly cat but she would not part with any cat that I chose. She also fed a cat a banana while speaking with me. I think only a starving cat would eat a banana.
Cats Haven is a wonderful Sanctuary for older cats and cats with disabilities to live their lives out it is a 501 c business and run strictly on donations all donations go to help the cats with food litter vet bills and any supplies the shelter needs to keep it clean for the cats
I have had two babies adopted from here. Barb still remembers us from over two decades ago when my mom got her first cat from here. Say what you want about the surplus of cats or smell like some of the reviews say; these people do incredible work, and they truly love cats. I used to volunteer here and certainly miss it! Thank you for blessing us with amazing cats and for serving the special needs kitties that need love. Simon Henrys mom says hi to all of you! He is the most perfect and entertaining cat! Special needs adoption is awesome.
I would not recommend walking into this place. It smells awful, looks like a hoarder home, and the women there are incredibly rude. I remember many years ago this was a good rescue, but don’t expect to be able to come here and adopt any cats. And expect to be yelled at if you walk in their door even though their hours here say they are open. It’s really sad. I hope their cats find good homes because yikes.
They are not a place that wants to help you out. If you have some straight animals that need help they just don't help anybody out not a good place in my opinion.
Was so excited to adopt from this place. She had me come out multiple times to meet the cat I wanted I brought donations and when it came to adopt she denied me because I didn’t own I rented my home. The cats are over crowded there and it is dirty. The lady’s are mean to any volunteers. I will never return. Poor cats. Hopefully they treat them better than the humans.
