We had a kitten who had his tip of his tail ran over that we found he was only 2 months old. We took care of him for about 10 days until his cheeks swelled up like a golf ball. Turns out it was an abscess tooth. We had no money for a vet but we got him there fast enough for help and now he's doing just fine

We are fostering this little girl. Cricket has had some issues as her previous owner had died. She was shy and very timid. We decided she deserved to have a bath and a good hair cut. 2 almost 3 weeks later she is now very well behaved (except her barking when someone is at the door.) and seems very happy. She chases with our other dog and is great with small children. She is going to need some dental work. Cricket has been a joy. Before and after photos attached.

Have you seen this cat? His name is Pooter, he's missing, and has been gone since 4/22/2024. Please help me find him.

I adopted 2 old dogs from there. Everyone was very appreciative and genuinely happy for the dogs. After the adoption, we had some "growing pains" and the staff directed me to a training place that volunteers at the shelter and it worked like a charm.

Im not convinced this location is actually open/staffed. I have been trying to drop a stray cat and her 4 kittens off here for 4 days. Their hours are not updated online, nor do they answer the phone. Two 20minute drives with stressed out cats, numerous emails, and 6 unanswered phone calls today alone, only to arrive and see a notice on the locked door that they're out 6/18/24 for Juneteenth and will be back tomorrow. Completely worthless facility. Roll the dice if you want to try showing up for adoption or to try to get a stray to a non-kill shelter, maybe you'll have better luck than me and someone will actually be there.

Due to allergies we delivered one very fine and friendly stray cat, who came to our yard, but was very shy and seemed not to handle outdoor living too well. We called her Cleopatra, and she got adopted within 2-3 weeks. Weber County Animal Service personal are all very friendly, attentive, care for the animals as well as for the people who are attached emotionally to the animals, even if they can't adopt them. Thank you. My property tax is in good hands.
