Description Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cats and people in our community. We provide counseling, information, and resources to empower people to support their cats and others in the community. If cats cannot stay with their families or neighborhoods, we prioritize our intake on cats most at risk - cats in need of rehoming; kittens who need specialized care; and cats who have been abandoned, are sick or injured, or are not thriving in the community. We are committed to ensuring the highest level of attention and care for cats in our adoption program and provide a modern, free-roaming adoption center to minimize stress, serve the individual needs of each cat, and set up both cats and adopters for success.

Just a little update on our boy Strahan! He is loved and still adorable. Big shout out to the family who didn't give him a chance after just a day or two-which gave us a chance to adopt him! He is one of the sweetest cats around.

Adopted a cat. It's set up is a friendly place to bond to potential adoptions or Fosters. Employees are friendly and very helpful. Please adopt or Foster.

I stopped by to donate some food, and they let me see all the cats. I was amazed about how they kept them: In rooms, not cages. The staff were wonderfully welcoming. The facility was very clean. They take in cats that are surrendered and find him good homes. I am amused to read reviews by people who did not understand what needs to be done that's best for the cat (e.g., adopting kittens in pairs). A pet is not a spur-of-the-moment decision, they're not a toy. And this organization understands this.

This is a great facility with super nice people working there. I recently went there to find a place to bring my 4 kittens. A lady name Leona was working the desk and a gentleman (forgot his name ) gave me a quick tour. They gave me a card and told me to email Kimberly to make an appointment and I did and she made me an appointment. This facility is highly recommended so if you are looking to adopt a kitten or cat, this is the place.

My son has been begging me for a cat for over 2 years. I finally gave in and brought him to HBCA last month to come look around and pet some of the cats. That day we had gotten there 10 minutes before closing, and they still let us is and let us stay to check out all the cats past 6pm. We were pressed for time and couldn't adopt that day. But we knew from the atmosphere this was the place we wanted to come back to. We popped in 04/24/24 around 4:30 pm. There was only one employee and one volunteer. They were both super helpful with any questions and cats we wanted to look at. We ended up leaving within an hour with Greta. A very shy and cute 1 year old black kitty😺. They have a donate table upfront where we got a few free used items. We got : a litter box, a bag of litter, a bag of dry cat food, 2 food bowls, and some toys. They also give you a free vet voucher for the vet office next door. All the cats are up to date on shots and are ringworm free. They go over all the paper work with you and make sure you understand any information they've gone over in the paperwork. Once we have Greta (Now Galaxie) acclimated to our home, we will be back to get her a friend. I really can't recommend this place anymore. 10/10! Thank you so much for putting a big smile on my son's face ❤️.
