DO NOT WATSE YOUR TIME or adopt here. Would leave 0 stars if I could. I read the reviews and now I understand. Some people said they are just picky and picky is good when you’re trying to place animals. However these people think they are some sort of adoption gods. I reached out multiple times about a Siamese kitten and had to keep bothering them for a response. Once I did get the application it took 5 days for an interview. I did the interview and the lady was nice enough on the phone. They said multiple ppl were interested in the same cat and the director would pick the best fit. For reference I have personally fostered over 20 kittens. I have raised a Siamese cat from kitten and had her for 15 years. I take care of my mom’s Siamese cats while she’s out of town one to two weeks a month. She said the cat was skiddish ans took a while to warm up to people which I am very familiar with for Siamese cats, that’s how they are. After our interview she texted me almost immediately that the director won’t approve the adoption. I asked if it was just cause there was a better fit and she said no it’s for all cats because I have a dog door. The dog door is closed and locked at night and the dog sleeps in his kennel. My cat is very secure and has 2000 sq ft to herself at night. The kitten would have 4000 sq ft available during the day. The dog has his OWN BEDROOM with his own dog door so he isn’t outside in 120 degree heat and a sitting duck for coyotes. She essentially black listed me because I take care of my dog. Idk what other applicants have a literal bedroom that is only for their pet. I currently have a cat with no issue with the dog door. Had her for 9 years now. So after trying for over a week and not getting a response when I call and having to email them multiple times, I get blacklisted because I care about my dog’s wellbeing. She was super rude as soon as she found out about the dog door and lectured me on the phone like I was an idiot about coyotes. Literally have lived on the west coast my whole life and am very aware of coyotes. These people are terrible. Their adoption fee is higher than any I have seen $300 for a kitten. Rude and stupid.

I would give no stars if possible. This business does not follow through with the so called “mission statement” of theirs. My boyfriend and I found a cat we liked and visited her a few times until we discussed and decided we were ready to adopt. We filled out an application and had an interview with Bill. The interview was cut short when Bill saw that we had only been in our current home for 5 months. He very rudely ended the interview stating that they require a person have been at their current address for 6 months. When I tried to ask why they do not have this and any other policies listed so that people would be aware and not waste their time. Bill had stormed off swearing while another woman had said that she would speak with their director and advised that they don’t share their policies so that “customers do not take advantage/for the safety of the cats”. This is absolute garbage as we have 1 year lease and are not planning on moving. We didn’t hear back for more than 2 weeks and were told we could not adopt due to the “situation” that occurred. They only see these animals as a dollar sign. We had gotten attached and were excited to bring a new member home to our family. This place is beyond judgmental, unprofessional, and borderline unethical. Do not waste your time and get your hopes up as they may tell you that you can’t adopt a cat because of god forsaken dumb reason that they seem unacceptable The ironic thing is we were told that this is all “for the safety of the cats” when really it is about control and profit. Bill and amber are running a terrible business that takes advantage of people looking to adopt an animal. Do better, because it is about the cats. You shouldn’t be allowed to run a business like this. I’m sure there is some kind of illegal garbage going on here.especially with how aggressive and unprofessional Bill is to customers. You can see his name mentioned in almost all of the reviews, none of which are good.

Bill you’re a horrible individual, and you do not have good intentions for any of those cats. Terrible adoption agency. After multiple trips, visits, and trying to get into contact with someone. I can’t adopt a cat, being I have a balcony? I’ll find a cat that truly needs a home from the Henderson animal shelter. They actually enjoy adopting cats to homes, and they are 70 dollars cheaper with their shots, microchips, and are neutered as well. Do better. Be better. These cats aren’t dollar signs, or your personal play things. They deserve homes, love, and to be out of those metal kettles. Disgusting humans taking advantage of animals.

We just adopted a sweet little boy kitty at their Petsmart location this weekend. They are not mean as the other reviews make them seem to be. They are STRICT. Big difference. They really screen/interview everyone who fills out an application and has a conversation with you about your household. This is because they care about the animals and the success of your adoption, people. The managers and their workers truly care about every single animal they take in. Yes, they charge more than most, but they're a small non-profit. You can tell the animals are well-taken care of. All of the vaccinations, tests, vet office visit fees, and neutering/spaying cost MORE than the adoption fee. They know the cats & dogs personalities, and will let you know which ones would be perfect for your household and situation. I left there with a sense that I made the best decision and the best choice. One of their workers who fostered the kitty I took home, even sent me his baby photos the next day! Support these guys, they're one of the best ones I visited.

I agree with the previous post. BILL is horrible. I would say worse things about him but leave it at that. The higher-ups in this agency act as if they are some sort of godlike beings and very judgemental. Even the Petsmart management and staff seem to support them. I would just stay away and boycott this agency and Petsmart store just as they want to blackball, honest, caring, loving pet people from adopting from them. Something smells illegal or just plain wrong here... just sayin'

Been lectured by amber in my driveway whilst I was holding my dead kitty, crying, and getting ready to bury him. His dying and death were of no concern to her. She even looked him over as she was giving me harsh criticisms, lifted his leg and then dropped it nonchalantly almost even roughly. It almost became a physical confrontation, I asked her "Are you really lecturing me in my yard while Im holding my dead Robster Mobster? Lady you need to get off my property now before I hurt you ". Keep in mind I live in very small town and had no way to get to a vet to save him and I had begged and cried and pleaded with this amber woman (if you can call her that) many times. She said "well I can't help him take IT to the vet." in a very callous tone. Also I know someone who lost a kitty and she replied to them, "we haven't got any cats for a year. Anyways if we have found your cat we wouldn't give it back to you, it's our policy to not give a found cat back to original true owner. So she basically steals your lost cat/child. One of the worst people and experiences of my life.
