Description "PG&J’s Dog Bar is better than a basic dog park - it's a place where dog owners can have fun too! You will never have to feel guilty for leaving your dog at home while you enjoy a night out. PG&J's Dog Bar is a great time out for both owner and dog!"

We always have the best time here! The people are wonderful, the dogs are even better. All dogs are tested for aggression upon entry and asked to leave if they are disruptive or not vetted - which eases my anxiety after Charlie was attacked at a dog park. We love all the drinks and food trucks here! They host wonderful events. Kaylee loves the pools and ice pools in the summer! The staff is attentive if your pup is having issues with another pup and it needs addressed - or if you need something cleaned up! The new turf also makes it a great place to go- even on rainy days. Even for those without dogs, I bring them here because the atmosphere is just relaxing and positive- the best place in Louisville!

Edit my previous review since I have dog. I have to say about this dog bar since it is a little complicated for me. I meant my dog had been there before as I can't recall if my dog was behaving well there with her previous owner because this owner pass away. It is little hard to enjoy the drink when you have to watch your dog if you are visit there for first time with your dog. I meant my dog was fine there until the small dog come in that cause chaos. I had to take my dog home because she kind of attack or being over do. But it is important to know that my dog is in need more training and work on it to be more social able so that I can come back and enjoy it so is my dog. It is important to be aware of your dog and be good social able. And also just be watch out for small dogs for a good reason. Also in other additional, this bark ranger was kind of not nice toward to my dog. He always kept watching my dog but it didn't mean anything. Yes, my dog's hair (hackles) got raised up because she was so exciting. Also I know that she dig out the ice out of the water because she was exciting. I don't know what to except her to behave at this dog park. Dogs does play. I guess my dog need proper training more.

Friendly staff. Solid beer menu. Both indoor (heated and cooled) and outdoor play area with tons of staff watching over the dogs. My wife and I brought our two frenchies while they were doing Santa photos. We had a blast. They even allowed us to watch our favorite college football game with sound. We can’t wait to go back.

We’ve tried all the various dog bars nearby. This one is fun. Most of the staff is friendly, & you can tell they love the dogs. I’m not exactly sure what the issue is, but the bathroom here smells absolutely horrendous. When I have to pee, I opt to hold it or leave, instead of having to enter the bathroom. More than once, there have been people come in off the street, without dogs, & ask me & others if they can have the food we’ve brought in. For that reason, I’m not comfortable eating there, which is frustrating. I also wish the water bowls were changed more often. It’s not unusual for there to be >20 dogs present, & the few water dishes they have quickly turn into puddles of slobber. Often my dog will make her way to one of the water bowls, but decide it best to not drink the contents. I end up getting her a cup of the water from the human water cooler, bc I can’t find any way for me to refill the water bowls with fresh water. Free parking spaces are very limited, & we usually have to pay to park in the lot next door. If it’s raining, there is little to no covered space for the dogs to run around in. Other local dog bars offer large covered areas for the dogs to romp in, even if it’s yucky outside. We will return to PJ’s, because it is conveniently located, & usually very fun, but it does leave much to be desired, in my opinion.

Visiting the area without our dogs, so had to check the place out, and get our dog fix. What an awesome place! Had fun petting everyone's dogs and talking to their owners. My dogs would love this place. Very friendly staff, and they were right on top of everything happening. Would love to open something like this in our area of Northern Michigan.
