I am not one who gets upset easily or thinks badly towards other people, but I felt the need to write this review from my experience today. We have cats that we are trying to find a home for and have tried all resources and felt the animal shelter would be a good place for them to find their “furever” home. Yes, we have been feeding them because we didn’t want them to be hungry. The young, black- headed girl, who I assume is over the intake, quickly told me that since we were feeding them they were our cats not strays. Also, because the cat we took in was a little skittish (and scared) was quick to say that more than likely he would be put to sleep and not in the adoption room. We ended bringing the cat back to our home. We will never utilize the animal shelter anymore. If anyone asks me about the animal shelter, we will be quick to say not to go there. I had a monetary donation to give them today, but I took it and the cat (ours now) home with me. They will not get any donations from me ever!!!

I will never advise anyone to bring an animal here. I called BEFORE I drove 30 minutes, about a SICK 4 to 5 week old kitten that we found on the side of the road and told them I did not have the funds to give it the care it needs. I show up with the kitten, clearly very sick, only for them to tell me that they couldn't take him because he was outside of the county. While I can understand to a certain extent I was told IF I left him there with them that he wouldn't have a fighting chance! So what IF he had been found in Lowndes County? I would have been leaving him with people who would let him die anyway? I'm absolutely heart broken!!

I dropped off a stray I found and you could feel the love they have for these animals. They were so kind and got him taken care of immediately. Thank you for your love and kindness.

They killed my dog i have had him for 4 years he never once even growled at anyone its not all their fault as someone called and lued ok n my dog and the sad part is this person doesn't even live in the home and they removed my dog from the home he was there for over a year and they removed and killed him in less than a week to top it off they won't even yell me exactly what or how he was removed from the home so im taking civil actions this way my dog,my pet, my best friend I've lost everything he was the last thing I had and what kept hope alive for me his playfulness would brighten up my dullest days and motivate me now im heartbroken and devastated My dog is gone and I have no answers as to why.
