I have been taking my pets to VCA Pacific Ave for over 30 years. Everyone who works there is kind, professional and knowledgeable. I’ve never had a bad experience with VCA. I brought my two dogs Juno and Falkor in today and had another wonderful experience. Juno has severe anxiety, especially when vaccines are administered. James was AMAZING! I have never seen Juno so calm and happily distracted when a shot was given, James has a gift! Thank you for making both pup’s experiences pleasant. Dr. Hurtado was also great! I appreciate the entire VCA staff. If you’re looking for a vet for your animal family members I highly recommend VCA! Additionally, their emergency care is top notch. We never want to find ourselves in the position that requires an emergency visit, but knowing VCA is there gives me so much peace of mind. The care and wellness of our pets is their top priority.

I had a visit today with Dr. Lara at the VCA Pacific Animal Hospital. Dr. Lara was very kind, patient, gentle and genuinely caring. I left the clinic today feeling very confident knowing my dog has and will continue to receive excellent care here. Thank you Dr. Lara.

I cannot thank the staff enough for helping my kitty. Everyone was so kind and caring about the situation I was in. I was able to call them and get in right away! They were able to help my financial situation and still take incredible care of my kitty. I highly recommend bringing your animals here!

They were great. They got my dog Elmer in same day as an emergency visit do we could get him meds got skin allergies. He's also allergic to flea saliva?? Very interesting. Would recommend and will keep going here!

The VCA animal hospital was so amazing when I had an emergency visit with my cat a month ago. Everyone there from the reception to the doctors was so kind and gentle with me and my sweet cat. I came in so panicked, and left feeling so much relief (as did my cat, Robert!) they then quickly scheduled some follow ups for my cat and have been the same extremely pleasant experience coming back. It made me immediately so comfortable and happy to see the staff loving my cat as much as I do, I know he is in great hands here. Thank you so much!

Made an appointment over a month ago just to wait 4 hours in the car to even get into a room to be seen.... Absolutely unbelievable, not to mention they considerably recommend unnecessary tests for things that "could" but very unlikely happen. This was a yearly checkup appointment and they want to do blood tests and X-rays and a fecal sample. I just wanted a checkup, this whole visit took 6 hours for a checkup.... Anyways he is completely healthy from what they see but again they want more tests so they make more money. Why recommend unnecessary tests when my dog is young and healthy. Bill from the checkup alone and shots was $570. The tests they wanted to perform estimates over $1200 hell no
