Adopted my ball python, Curly from them yesterday 1/13/24 and I can’t say enough good things about this place. The animals are all so loved by all the staff & everyone is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. They deeply care about their animals and ensure the best care possible, all while ensuring that they are able to continue to help even after animals are adopted. Definitely will be coming back for anything I need! Highly recommend
Well every time I have been there it's been clean and friendly people running it. They could always use more people to help for those that don't know. Caring for a reptiles is hard work even just one.
My recent encounter with Pacific Northwest Aquatics and Exotics Rescue has been nothing short of amazing! I had the pleasure of meeting them at a Reptile Expo, where they went above and beyond to assist us with our Tegu. The highlight of our interaction was the custom paracord harness they crafted for our Tegu, showcasing their exceptional skills and commitment to animal welfare. The team at Pacific Northwest Aquatics and Exotics Rescue not only demonstrated their expertise in reptile care but also took the time to educate us on various animals. Their passion for these creatures is truly inspiring, and it reflects in the level of care and attention they provide. Visiting their rescue facility was a delightful experience, as the staff took the time to share valuable insights about the diverse range of animals under their care. The dedication to education sets them apart, making it clear that their mission goes beyond rescue – it extends to fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the incredible world of aquatics and exotics. I highly recommend Pacific Northwest Aquatics and Exotics Rescue to anyone passionate about responsible pet ownership and the well-being of unique animal companions. Their kindness, knowledge, and commitment to education make them an invaluable resource for both novice and experienced enthusiasts. Thank you, Pacific Northwest Aquatics and Exotics Rescue, for your exceptional service and for being true advocates for our scaly friends!
Working there currently to help repair some utilities in the building and what a great enviorment and the people have been great. I now plan to build a small pond and adopt some turtles and maybe more reptiles in the future but it's such a great group of people to be around.
These people are cruel. I don't know how they manage their animals, but they treat humans with callous contempt. I was in a crisis situation and needed to surrender a beloved pet snake I'd kept for over a decade. Their online surrender form asks to "please allow 3-5 days for a response from our team". I never received a response at all. The form also states, "if it is an emergency please call us at" with a phone number. As my situation was an emergency, I called in the afternoon and left a voicemail, then called again that evening and reached someone. She was not kind, and used a shaming, impatient tone while I begged for help. She told me with annoyance that they had just gotten back from a show, but said she would arrange a truck and call me back. She never called me back. I waited, suffering, hoping for the help that was promised. No call came. I called twice the next day and both calls were manually shunted to voicemail. (You can tell from the number of rings before VM.) I left another voicemail, sobbing, which was never returned. All she had to say was "I'm sorry, we're at capacity and cannot help. I wish you the best." She didn't have to shame me for the situation, and she certainly didn't have to make promises on the phone or on their website about help being available. Lying to someone in crisis will only make that person feel worse. I regret asking PNAER for assistance, I regret being vulnerable on the surrender form, and I even regret the need to write this review, but I thought others should be aware of the type of people they're dealing with when they contact this business. I expect that any response to this review will be equally cruel; perhaps they'll even try to doxx the private information I shared with them while in crisis. They've proven - too late for me - that they cannot be trusted. Please be cautious when you ask for help in your most dire circumstances. Not everyone is kind. Some will actively make you feel worse, even at your lowest.
When in almost no animals had water. Dirty enclosures. Extreme neglect situation.
