I don’t leave reviews often, but when something needs to be said, it needs to be said. I can’t express enough how awesome this place is. Every single person I’ve had any interaction with has been outstanding. Dr. Long is the best vet I’ve ever taken an animal to and shows genuine care for my dog. Everyone else working there is also very genuine, caring, and makes the whole experience much easier for my little guy. I would highly recommend this place.

Honestly they made me feel like I was a horrible pet owner and I’m not. My cat is healthy and has no signs of sickness or anything and they told me she needed a fiv felv test when she doesn’t. I told them I knew the symptoms of fiv and they told me there’s none when for a fact there is. They also told me if she was fiv positive she would need to be separated from our other cat when there are studies proven this is false. They also wanted to do a poop sample when she’s not showing signs of anything. They also said the flea treatment I was giving her wasn’t good enough but yet she has no fleas! If I bought into everything they wanted it would have been over $200 that didn’t need to be spent! They had nothing nice to say other then she was healthy but continued to lecture us on how she needs all these things she doesn’t she is healthy! I’m extremely disappointed in how we were treated. Also if they do this to any one else and you do want your cat to be tested please go to the tractor supply vet they can do the tests they wanted for about half the price if not less.

I had a great experience here. Great staff and very efficient and friendly! I hadn’t visited in a while, but they were welcoming and answered any and all questions I had for my kitten Robert’s first check up. They put me at ease and I look forward to working with them in the future. 5-STARS

We had our dogs and cat in today to have a host of shots and tests done. The doc, Shelly Long, was amazing. Very knowledgeable, very caring, and took the time to address our concerns and the pets all loved her. Been coming here for years, and will continue to do so. Great service guys!

I owe everything to my cat's doctor Dr.Long, and Dr.Jagger for performing a complicated biopsy on my baby girl Bailey to diagnose her inflammatory bowel disease. She has been to multiple other vets but none were ever able to figure out what is wrong with her until now. I thought we would never get answers but my girl is finally doing so well after so long! Bailey has been seeing Dr.Long for a couple years now and she is such a great person and vet. She never rushes things and I can tell she genuinely cares for pets and her clients. My cat is my everything and I have searched for a good vet for years but we finally found one that is super caring, knowledgeable, and not shady. This is coming from someone who brings her cat to the vet quite frequently to make sure her health is always being monitored and she lives the most comfortable happy life as possible. Thank you VCA Parkway you guys are awesome!

We have been coming to parkway since they opened in the 90's Oh how they have gone downhill. First I'm convinced they upsell EVERY SINGLE THING. Allegedly my dog had some sort of infection in the ear. We cannot find anything nor is she acting in pain. But yet we have paid for a cream. Then a few days after our cat was vaccinated, he started having issues that appear to be a bladder infection. Yet we can't get back into the vet for 2 weeks!! WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING A VET IF YOU CANT GET IN TO SEE THEM WHEN SOMETHING IS WRONG??? It blows my mind that we cannot get services in any sort of emergency capacity. Needless to say, we will be searching for a new vet!
