Last night we had to make the very difficult decision to put of 14 year old Major to sleep. He had completely lost his ability to stand, labored breathing and lost control of bowels and bladder. We knew it was time. Instead of waiting to get in with a vet, and prolong his discomfort. We wanted to remember him with a little bit of happiness still in his eyes. The staff at Summit was so compassionate and the process was actually really beautiful. They have cozy little rooms to be with your fur family member in a comfortable non-traumatic setting. I've put a couple dogs to sleep. And while it is heart breaking. This was the most lovely and dignified experience. Thank you for giving our old man some relief and love with us during his final moments.

May you never have to visit this place but should your pet fall ill, or something happens to them, we feel totally blessed SVRC was there for us. Our beautiful Ziggy (7-1/2yo) fell ill one morning, to the degree we knew something was seriously wrong. We raced to SVRC, having never been there before. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly greeted and well taken care of. The vet tech that received us, the doc we saw, were all clearly compassionate and helped us work through what was happening and the decisions that had to be made. Turns out Ziggy had a Hemangiosarcoma tumor on his heart and within a few hours he was gone. We are of course broken hearted but grateful for the staff and facility of SVRC. May you never have to go, but if you do, you’ll be in good hands.

We have had nothing but amazing experiences at summit vet! Dr Kice and his team performed a very difficult eye mass removal on my pug baby and did an amazing job reconstructing his eye lid. They were so helpful in explaining the process and recovery. Shay was my dog’s anesthesiologist and she was so calming and personable which made the entire process sooo easy. Two years ago, we lost our puppy to PDE and summit vet fought so hard to save his life. We knew as soon as we needed to get my dogs eye mass removal that summit was the only place we would go. Thank you so much to the team at summit vet for all that you do for everyone and their pets. We are so grateful for each and every one of you!

VERY IMPRESSED. The staff at the front desk are very personable. Dr Kice was amazing. He took his time with us and explained everything in detail. And the waiting area is very comfortable and welcoming.

We recently had to put down our beloved elderly Yorkie, Kaiya. Dr. Marianne Pan was the veterinarian we were working with. She was so kind and caring to us at such a difficult time. I wish I had a human doctor with as much bedside manner as she possessed. She was absolutely wonderful. It cannot be easy to do the job she does day in and day out- but you would never know it from the time she took to be with us, to the comforting words she shared during the process. Although I will miss Kaiya forever and ever, I’m glad our last memories with her were in such a loving environment created by Summit and Dr. Pan. Thank you for all you do.

I recently visited Summit veterinary Hospital for a check-up for my dog, who was exhibiting concerning symptoms such as vomiting, lack of appetite, yellowing of the eyes and ears, and signs of dehydration. Unfortunately, the level of care and attention provided by the staff was disappointing. During our consultation, the technician seemed distracted and not fully attentive to my dog’s distressing condition. After a brief examination and blood work, I was informed that the veterinarian would not be available until Wednesday, leaving me with little guidance or support for my dog’s critical state. The only advice offered was to administer anti-nausea medication and to return if her condition worsened. Upon returning home, my dog’s condition did not improve, and she continued to vomit. This experience has left me with serious concerns about the professionalism and competence of the staff, especially considering the significant amount of money we have invested in this hospital for our pet’s healthcare. It is disheartening to see such a lack of empathy and urgency in a situation where a beloved pet’s life is at stake. * details: The technician did not meet the standard of care that your hospital claims to provide to every patient. During our visit, the technician appeared distracted and not fully present while we were explaining our pet's condition (my wife and I even looked at each other surprised because her mind and eyes were somewhere else) Despite our concerns, she quickly took our pet away and returned in like five minutes, showing a lack of proactive effort in addressing our pet's urgent needs. We were surprised by this approach, especially considering that your hospital is advertised as an emergency facility. Furthermore, instead of addressing our pet's immediate medical needs, we were advised to go home and administer anti-nausea pills. The following day, when the technician contacted us, she primarily focused on discussing the feedback we left on this platform rather than relaying the doctor's message. We expressed our disappointment and concern, emphasizing that if this level of care continues, it may deter others from seeking treatment at your facility. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we cannot in good conscience return to your facility or recommend it to others. The way we were treated by the technician has left a lasting impression, and we hope that you take our feedback seriously to ensure improvements in the future. *our beloved Luna died a few days later thx to the useless staff at this hospital.
