I recently took my beloved pet, Treeaxe, to the animal hospital for an exam to determine if she was ovulating. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found such a wonderful facility for my furry friend. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, guiding us through the entire process with care and expertise.One of the things that impressed me the most was how conveniently located the hospital is to my home. It's such a relief to know that quality care is just around the corner. Additionally, the hospital itself is impeccably maintained; it's super neat, spotlessly clean, and has a pleasant aroma throughout. It's evident that they prioritize the well-being of both their human and animal visitors.I wholeheartedly recommend this animal hospital to anyone in need of veterinary services. They truly go above and beyond to ensure that every pet receives the attention and care they deserve. Thank you to the amazing team at the animal hospital for their dedication and professionalism.

We went them as a seconds opinion still felt like all they really cared about in the end was money too . never had proper follow up never was contacted properly while my dog died slowly for 3 months nothing was ever found and one of her last apt before she had to be put down they new it was too late but my husband brought her alone and was charged $300 for more medicine that she could never get down anything for weeks by this point and suffered an entire weekend before being put down Monday which of course was more money but having been on the phone all day Saturday I knew there was not much left that could be done but i wasn't there to advocate so my husband got swindled into spending more money by the doctor even though they new her condition and she went with him. In the end she had about 4-5 visit and a hole day of observation this is also after we spent a month with another vet which they got records from by her Second visit . She never did anything but deteriorate and in the end she passed away suffering but it could have been prevented. I could have put it down before she was suffering and the doctors definitely knew as well.

Heartless, ruthless, cold blooded. They did save my dog because I had money for that. To be fair the employees are great but management needs to find a job at a funeral home.

Love the Dr. I wish I could give receptionist a zero! Today was the second time I had an issue. The first was I checked in and sat in the waiting room forever for an appointment that she never made by phone. Today same thing I waited to pick up our pet for 30 mins. When I asked if she notified the back I was here to pick up..immediately came the eye rolling and attitude. When I was making an appt for a 3 week follow up I requested dates because of work schedule and the fact traffic plays a huge part in arrival times from Mt Pleasant to this location! Once again keep the Dr fire the receptionist! Get someone with a better attitude! We spend too much money to be treated like crap by a lousy receptionist!!!

Whatever you do do not take your pets to Dr G, she overcharges and cares only about the money. She wanted charge me $4000-5000 for surgery for a dislocated hip when another vet said max of $1100

We brought our dog in because she was having some sort of really bad reaction to something she must have eaten. The vet tech was super nice and very friendly but once the actual doctor came in she was very irritable and basically talked to my fiancé and I as if we were idiots and didn’t know any better. We paid over $200 in medicine but due to the experience with Dr. Cantrell I wouldn’t recommend this or at least try to avoid having her as your vet. Besides that, every other staff member was very nice.
