1st PET should not be on anyones list for adequate VETERINARY CARE. They had 3 years to provide care to my puppy and 2 months after his last appointment with them in 2020, he was diagnosed with lymphatic STAGE 3 CANCER, I had to put him to sleep 1 month later. They could have told me about the veterinary CANCER HOSPITAL in the same town but that was nit on their list of important information.

We had a wonderful experience here. The staff was very friendly and efficient and amazingly helpful. We came here very concerned with a dog we’d been told was not pregnant previously by another vet. Luckily for us, it was a very happy birth of two puppies after arriving in the vet center. The staff was really amazingly helpful from the moment we called to when we left. I would definitely recommend this vet to others in need. Thanks so much!

First pet has emergency care, Surgery, internal medicine, and general veterinary doctors. We have been very happy with all of the care that first Pet has given to our Service Dog, Charley. The exam he had before his teeth cleaning was thorough. We were specially happy that they would be able to take dental x-rays to make sure that no teeth had to be extracted. He also had his spleen removed by a first pet surgeon, and Charley is doing very, very well. Charly has always been treated with great kindness.

Always delivering the best care. Our pets love going here, even if it’s not under the best circumstances. We know that our pups will get the best care there is. The facilities are also gorgeous.

My cat had a potential emergency, brought her in late one weekend. Unsure what was going on with her, will this clear up on its own or is it serious. The front desk staff, the vet techs were all very nice. The vet, however, was not. He showed no emotion, no compassion, didn’t even interact with my cat, didn’t listen to me. They wanted $1500 of work done - meds, bloodwork, X-rays, but he wouldn’t tell me what they could possibly be looking for. It honestly felt excessive - he said something about seeing a radiology expert, thyroid testing, none of which made sense to me. “This can’t be a thyroid issue can it, she has no other symptoms” “well we don’t know have to find out”. She literally had one acute symptom and is in perfect health otherwise. I don’t have that kind of money, they’re very much “no money, no service”. The vet didn’t give me any insight to what might be the problem or maybe do these tests in steps first. I can almost guarantee that if I did get all the work done, that $1500 would only have been the start, I’m sure they would have wanted more testing after that. This was the equivalent of talking to a mechanic to get your car fixed. I paid the $200 for the exam, another $100 for some fluids under her skin then left. I didn’t feel comfortable with this vet at all, even if I did have $1500, I wouldn’t have felt comfortable with all that testing. Just felt excessive. The next day at home, my cat finally used the litter box, her body just got rid of whatever the issue was and she’s 100% better.

If i could give this place negative stars i would! My dog had bladder stone issues and my first visit went great. however i brought him back as he became blocked again and was not able to use the bathroom, they charged me for everything they charged me for the first visit, although they already knew what was wrong with him and i just needed him unblocked (i did not mind pay the emergency visit fee and the fee to unblock him) but why am i paying for exams when he had some done 4 days ago for the exact same issue. after my boyfriend was notified 6 hours later they have not even began to unblock or treat him, we requested we pick our dog up to take him elsewhere as we don’t believe he should be locked in a cage for 6 hours JUST WAITING! upon arrival we requested again our dog to was brought out and they proceeded to bring out 3 different employees to talk to us (without our dog) well the receptionist called the police to lie and say my boyfriend threatened her! which did not happen! after finally receiving my dog they proceeded to follow me outside ! so ultimately my dog was waiting for hours to receive no treatment and they would not refund me!! DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! they do not care about the well being of your pets they are money hungry people who call the police on you for not wanting their services
