Description Since opening its doors in November of 2012, The Arizona Animal Welfare League's Chandler Adoption Center has been the premier adoption location for dogs, cats, kittens, and puppies in the East Valley. Our Adoption center replaced a former puppy mill store, where puppies were sold for exorbitant prices, while their parents lived in small cages across the country in terrible conditions. Now, all animals are rescued from the local community and our Rural Rescue partners, provided medical care, loved by staff and volunteers, then adopted into loving homes.

Best no kill shelter ever found my girl princess there. My family is complete again. The staff, every one of them are angels sent to take care of these dogs and cats looking for their forever home. I personally will be forever grateful to the AAWL .
Beware! Every time I come here I leave with a new family member! All my dogs are rescues from the AAWL, 2 of which are from the Chandler mall location. They always provide pets as healthy as possible, putting donations to good use, providing vital surgeries for the pets in their care. I am happy to provide a forever home to these lovely animals. Please Adopt! Don't Shop.
Came up from Casa Grande and was able to adopt a beautiful Siamese kitten named Magnolia. The entire adoption process was great! It took about 30 minutes from start to finish. This lil kitten is so very sweet, and snuggly, and it was an instant connection the moment I held her. Thank you so much to the workers at this location, you ladies were so friendly and informative!!! The entire adoption process was fast, easy, and professional.
We originally went for a puppy but my 3 year old fell in love with a kitty. Almost 3 months in and he’s been a great addition to our home!
It was a great place but my kitten after 3 weeks has been diagnosed with FIP. Loverboy was a great kitten and the help here was great I'm just saddened this little dude isnt going to make it. Apart of me want to blame this shop but from what I've learned FIP is common and could of been contracted at any point. Hes been at my place since the adoption so I dont see how he could of caught it here. I'm still heart broken hes a amazing kitten. The vet said hes prob only got a few nk nights before I need to put him down... super sad and venting
My partner and I adopted a kitten from here a little over a month ago. The staff was super friendly and answered all of our questions and concerns. It was an amazing experience adopting chop 🫶:)
