Great staff, friendly, professional and caring . Dr Shalabi answer questions, seem interested and care about what’s going on. I walk out of the office feeling confident that my kitty was in good hands !!!
Always a warm and efficient welcome. Great urgent care services and vet and techs have wonderful rapport with our dogs. Checkout was quick and efficient. They also do a great job alleviating patient and owner anxiety.
We have been taking our pet Shih Tzu to Otay Pet Vet for at least the past 2 years and continue to receive excellent care! Includes being given clear info and kind professional care! Most recently for an ear infection and a few stitches. They have been responsive to our questions and scheduling needs!
My wife and I just got to San Diego a few days ago with our cat, who got bitten by another cat during our travels and had an absess on his back. I called multiple clinics, and this one was able to get me in the next day. They were super helpful and responsive, with very fair prices. They gave us treatment options with pricing, and we were able to talk about it before anything was done to our cat. They treated him, gave me antibiotics for him, and I am so happy with the outcome. I am super grateful for this place and will bring our 2 belgian malinois here as well!
Dr. Golsen assisted by Abigail did a stellar job of comforting an anxious human dog mom, handling my little sweetheart, and, keeping me informed about the healing process for her injured eye. Also, both were kind enough to not point out that I should be more aware that when she scratches herself, her claws might injure her eye. I’ll be more alert in the future to this common hazard & soft-collar her until we can get her groomed. Thanks for being there for us..
Pretty disappointed. I had a dental exam report showing my dog needed a loose tooth pulled. Did the pre-op and scheduled the “surgery”. I was told yesterday that I would also have to pay for a full dental cleaning (don’t need since she has that done at a mobile dentist every 4 months) and a full set of X-rays. It really is not about the money. Yes, it would tack on a couple hundred , but it really is the principle that bugs me. I asked to just have the X-ray to confirm the tooth needed to be pulled but was told “that’s not how we do things here”. Not my first problem but finally ticked off enough to write about it. Will have the work done elsewhere.
