Having to make the decision when it’s time to have your beloved pet euthanized is always so difficult. Having the right veterinarian and staff can make such a huge difference. I have used Animal Urgent Care in the past, and they have always been such a blessing. Last night I had to make the decision to help my 16-year-old cat Spencer cross over the rainbow bridge. His health had been failing quite a bit in the last few months, and I didn’t want him to suffer. As is my tradition, I held him in my arms and sang You Are My Sunshine while he took his last breaths. The amazing vet at Animal Urgent Care was so sweet and even sang with me. I know he left this earth knowing he was loved. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Animal Urgent Care for being there for Spencer and me.

My cat had a semi emergency and no locals accepted walk-ins. The people at Escondido urgent care - were very nice and understanding. They are above the rest of any urgent care around here. They took care of my kitty and answered all my concerns. The cost of office visit and etc. were very affordable. They deserve alot more than thumbs up! Honestly, I wish we lived in the area. Our dog was attacked at a winery, of all places, by another dog. She was bleeding from the neck, thankfully, not excessively. We called around, and every other urgent care wouldn't take us. This place wasn't busy at the time, and took us in immediately. They cleaned her up, put in a drain and stitched everything else. The price was even lower than I expected. Since we were heading home two days later, they couldn't do the follow up themselves; and we had our vet take the drain out. They even called us to follow up on how she was doing. If I had anything at all negative to say, is that it took a while to get a quote to have her seen by the doctor. If there was a quick way to approve a certain amount right up front to have her seen immediately, I think that would be ideal. But they looked at her and said it wasn't life threatening and waiting 30 minutes didn't change anything. Still wish a place like this was in Anaheim.

I came in last night with my beloved baby boy, Robin for an abcess he grew after a neuter. To say I was worried and anxious is an understatement. The receptionist met us at the door and immediately made us feel like a priority, cared for, and heard. My Robin was taken back to be seen right away, and treated within the hour by the most compassionate, empathetic, and knowledgeable vet. She made me feel heard, and safe all while treating Robin with kindness and respect. I’m so thankful for the hard work and compassion the team showed. Really proves these guys are in the right profession. Thank you all who took care of my buddy last night. You’re all so appreciated for the hard work you do!

We came in with a feral cat with no medical history and the team here was incredible. They were kind and compassionate with a hard to work with kitty and constantly checked in with us and let us know what they were finding out. When he needed a blood transfusion that they didn't have the correct blood for, they helped us find another emergency vet and made sure to talk to us about costs, our treatment intentions and made sure we were informed on our options. I see a lot of people complaining about the wait time. Unfortunately, there are a lot of pets out there who need help and they're doing there best. Vet staff have incredibly stressful and emotionally draining jobs. Please be kind. Also, I was able to sign up my two indoor cats to be blood donors! A service I think everyone should look into. You can help save someone else's pet and your pet gets free blood work too!

So glad I took my Smokey (kitten) to the Animal Hospital! They took care of him so good, his surgery was great! He went in in October and he is now his old self! I can’t thank you all enough for taking care of my baby!
