My case worker was Brenda Cole. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful understanding person. My husband and I had been trying to get our son diagnosed and it seemed we hit one brick wall after another until Brenda came along. She helped us by calling to see what the hold up was, got us the proper paperwork and even faxed and called to make sure everything was in place. She really listened to what we had to say and helped in so many ways

They couldn't offer me any help for my homicidal son. So they turned me into DSS because I'm trying to get him help. DSS says they can't help unless there is abuse or neglect and there is not. Words from the DSS workers mouth. When I asked her what they could help me with they said they'd refer me back to Growing Homes, which won't help. I asked what I could do if my son kills me, the DSS worker said, "I will pray for you" as I investigate you. Thanks growing homes for the additional stress while I am trying to get my son help.
