I adopted an adult dog. The shelter was clean and everyone was very kind. I spent about 30 to 45 min outside with my dog in the very pleasant enclosed play area. I’ve been so happy with my sweet boy!!

I came here looking for a dog and found my best friend. I knew the second I saw her that she was the one for me, and now I can’t imagine life without my Lulu. The staff is so kind and accommodating and genuinely want what’s best for every animal that they rescue. My beautiful girl was found abandoned, and the Humane Society took incredible care of her for almost a month before I got to give her a forever home. Thank you so much, Humane Society!

Great first time adoption experience. Clay and the entire staff were wonderful and we would definitely recommend checking them out. Our family has grown by 2 and we could not be happier. There are so many wonderful guys and gals that need loving families.. We wish we could take them all ❤️

The 1st time at the shelter, a dog chose my husband. Things that prohibited us from immediately adopting the dog: we lived in a small apartment, my husband had a heart attack 2 days later, we needed a fenced yard. That was the end of July, our adoption was early December. These shelter folks allowed me to come weekly and take the big boy for walks and play with him. The shelter team rocks! Finally into our home with fenced yard. Our boy is happy and so are we.
