The staff at Eastex is amazing! They treat your pet like it's one of their own. Beautiful facility too. Best value for the money. I recommend them to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

I took my dog here for a check up and a nail trimming. (They won’t do it at Petco anymore because he’s “dangerous” they cut his quick and he wasn’t thrilled with them) and they said he had a loose tooth. (A k9) I have always gotten a lot of compliments on how clean and white his teeth were. I was shocked. Then they gave me a crazy amount to pull the tooth. So I took him to an out of town vet that he was going to before I moved up here. And they took care of the issues for a lot less $$. And agreed with my assumption. I think they hurt my dog on purpose for money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I cannot say enough about how AMAZING Dr. Dempsey and his staff are…1st off I went to an Emergency clinic because my regular vet was “understaffed” and the EC was asking for my left kidney (way too much money)…I called all around Houston literally and I heard every excuse imaginable…I called Eastex Vet spoke with “Kim” I believe her name was. Such a great 1st person contact. She was very understanding of my female pups needs and recognized how dire the situation was. She took down my info and called Dr Dempsey. Dr Dempsey gave her the Ok to call me in. After coming up with a plan that was very suitable for me financially, Dr Dempsey saved my female pup. Of course every case/animal is different but I can gladly say Eastex Vet is now the new home for all my dogs moving forward. Dr Dempsey was more than thrilled about saving and treating her. His passion for treating animals shows! Thank you again Dr. Dempsey!

I went to this vet for emergency visit because my dog had a blood on her stool. They got me in one hour before they close. I got there, they checked us in and I had to wait more than 1 hour to see the doctor. The doctor finally came see us after closing time and asking questions, he said he will find somebody to help him so he can examine my dog, he never come back to do so and all he did just gave me medication for my dog and I had to leave my dog stool sample because they already close and I have to wait for the results on monday. I'm very disappointed and angry and mad at the doctor because he didn't touch or feel or examine my dog. Never come back. I'll come back just to find out the result but after that that's it. Btw, the staff are friendly and nice.

I brought my Chiquita in to the Eastex Veterinary Clinic in Humble today for a nail trim. The staff was wonderful. I got the appointment on short notice. They met me at the front door and carried her inside. And just a few short minutes later they returned with her and we were done. They said she did really well even without me in there with her. Only $16 for the service and believe me it's worth that! 👍
