We have a new puppy, and are older *parents*. Our Sydney ate a tube of toothpaste with xylitol and fluoride, both toxic to dogs...especially puppies. Dr. Chen and his staff were immediately on task! Animal poison control was contacted and recommended treatment plan taken. Thank you so much to staff and Doc. We have now totally childproof our home and know exactly where to go in an emergency. And the cost was affordable.

Today was a very hard day. My fourteen-year-old chihuahua had a seizure, and it caught us by surprise. The first time I took him to this emergency room, it was early in the morning because of diarrhea. Dr. Walter treated him and got him stable many months ago, thank God. Once again, Dr Walter was there and took care of Bebe. She was incredibly humane and understanding, she recognized that he is more than just a pet. He's part of my family. I have to say this is the best veterinary experience I have ever had. She held my dog's paw through these hard circumstances. I would like to thank this emergency room and Dr walter for their help during this very hard time. The service was amazing. Everyone on the team was really good, not only to me but to every single dog there. They might not understand how big of a difference they can make in someone's life, helping us get through these hard times when our friends get sick and we have no idea how to make them better. Thanks

If there was an option to leave ZERO stars, I would cause they don’t even deserve one. Took my babygirl in last night $1250 later and all they did was blood work and give her fluids. Took her in for a second opinion, and she had something stuck in her lower intestines, which caused internal bleeding. They could have done something so simple and did an X-Ray! But they didn’t cause they don’t care about the family nor the animal. All they care about is money.

This is the WORST! Emergency Animal Clinic in Texas. I brought in my sweet cat Pepper who was unfortunately actively dying and having issues breathing. Their staff REFUSED! to do anything to help stabilize my cat until I paid $1500 up front. The tears I cried listening to my cat meow in agony was so heartbreaking. Please don't take your animal to this place it's not worth the emotional trauma. RIP Pepper Girl.

I give them one star because I took my cat here for an emergency just to be told I should euthanize my cat due to his illness and that he was suffering. $550, seriously???!! To the doctor who suggested that, how would you feel if someone told you to euthanize your family member??? And by the way, I went elsewhere the next day to get him treatment and he's thriving for half the price you guys consider reasonable. For your price he got a full 2 days treatment, not just fluids injected under his skin and sent home. Thanks but no thanks to these inconsiderate ppl ripping off families. Wish we were allowed refunds. 🙄

I took my best friend Oreo here on 05/20/24 because he was attacked by another dog. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it and needed to be put down to stop his suffering. The doctor and her team did a great job attending to him. They took him in fast and started working on him right away. They gave me my deceased pet in a box with his name on it in beautiful handwriting, a print of his nose and paw for remembrance and they sent out a sweet card with condolences from the staff to my home weeks after the incident. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for Oreo.
