Just called with questions regarding how to handle remains of a deceased pet. The woman on the phone was horrible. Complete lack of empathy and compassion her attitude was very much “oh well it is what it is” She needs to find a new job.

Found a German shepherd went to see if he was chipped, I never got to find out or have him scanned, they would even open the gate or acknowledge that I was there. Only reason I talked to anyone is because it was lunch time and a girl came out to leave for lunch. She was not helpful and was rude and dismissive. She had a bunch of piercings, only mentioning this so hopefully somebody know who I’m talking about even though I’m sure it doesn’t matter. Worthless to say the least! Eastex vet around the corner was more than helpful.

Drove 45 minutes to check on a dog, gates locked, & finally got someone on phone to be told that dog was adopted a month ago. Advised on phone that people usually call first & “there’s another shelter down the road”.

We were looking for a dog to adopt nobody bothered to open the gate, even rang it a couple times and no answer. They were looking straight at us out the window. And the number that you call is a police number. Everyone employed here should be fired ASAP!!

Morgan was so wonderful with pet I have and I encourage anyone to get a pet desire extra 💘....Morgan has good customer service. Adoption is easy. My grandbabies that have met Green love him.

Book Worm

I'm guessing by the name, y'all are supposed to collect the strays, right? Well ya don't. My neighborhood has so many strays, and most of the people living here let their dogs free roam, so there's always dead critters and cats everywhere. Including 2 of mine (1 is a recent passing). Because y'all won't enforce the rules. There's even the remains of an orange and white cat on the side of the road close to the firehouse. That kids have to pass by on the way to and from school. If it's not your job, then please respond to this with the correct info, so I can go talk to them.
