Drove 45 minutes to check on a dog, gates locked, & finally got someone on phone to be told that dog was adopted a month ago. Advised on phone that people usually call first & “there’s another shelter down the road”.

We were looking for a dog to adopt nobody bothered to open the gate, even rang it a couple times and no answer. They were looking straight at us out the window. And the number that you call is a police number. Everyone employed here should be fired ASAP!!

Just called with questions regarding how to handle remains of a deceased pet. The woman on the phone was horrible. Complete lack of empathy and compassion her attitude was very much “oh well it is what it is” She needs to find a new job.

Morgan was so wonderful with pet I have and I encourage anyone to get a pet desire extra 💘....Morgan has good customer service. Adoption is easy. My grandbabies that have met Green love him.

Dogs coming here are having the worst day of their lives. I wish they made the place just a little bit inviting. It feels like a max security prison. Not asking for anything fancy, just something comforting. FYI: the sign on the gate notes that this is not a no-kill facility. Again, I get it, but it’s just another reason to make it a little bit more pleasant. The folks who work here are actually super nice. It’s not their fault.

I'm guessing by the name, y'all are supposed to collect the strays, right? Well ya don't. My neighborhood has so many strays, and most of the people living here let their dogs free roam, so there's always dead critters and cats everywhere. Including 2 of mine (1 is a recent passing). Because y'all won't enforce the rules. There's even the remains of an orange and white cat on the side of the road close to the firehouse. That kids have to pass by on the way to and from school. If it's not your job, then please respond to this with the correct info, so I can go talk to them.
