We had the absolute best experience with our adoption process at Garden Rescues. The second we walked into the rescue we fell in love. Lauren, Anastasia and Jess were incredibly knowledgeable, professional and very approachable. The rescue does an amazing job socializing and training the dogs and puppies that they have. It is evident that they truly care about each dog at their rescue, and put a great deal of effort ensuring that each dog goes to the correct home. Garden Rescues has continued to communicate with us, and checked in often during the first few weeks we took our puppy home. We are so thankful that we found Garden Rescues and decided to adopt our puppy from here. There are not enough words to express how much we love this rescue, and how amazing our experience was with them! We highly recommend visiting their rescue if you are interested in adopting a dog!

Garden Rescues is the BEST! The girls who run the adoption agency are amazing. They put so much hard work and love into their dogs which is reflective in each of the dogs who go home happy with their new owners! Myself and my wife adopted the best lil' girl from there and it's been the best thing to happen our home/family! Garden Rescues is part of our family. Just under a year ago, I adopted Donut from their care. The Garden Rescues team pulled Donut from a high-kill shelter in Texas; as an all-black dog her outlook was not promising. The Garden Rescues team then treated her as if she was one of their own. As a small shelter (eight kennels in a living room-style environment) they were able to work with Donut 1 on 1, providing basic obedience, understanding her wonderful quirks, and becoming an effective advocate for her before finding her perfect family. They are firm believers in the right dog for the right family, as opposed to just offloading animals without doing their due diligence. I met with the Garden Rescues team and Donut three times before bringing her home; I love that Executive Director Lauren takes the application process so seriously- these dogs have already been through so much and she wants to make sure forever is forever. When I picked up Donut to bring her home I received all her medical records, a list of commands she had mastered and was working on, feeding and diet information, and a small plush toy donut (which she promptly destroyed :)). Fast forward to a year later and this wonderful maniac of a dog is the perfect camping companion, loves everyone she meets, and has filled my life in such a gigantic way. That would have been enough, but I also gained Lauren, Anastasia, and the entire Garden Rescues crew. They checked in during the first few weeks of adoption, making themselves available for any questions or advice. We send pictures back and forth. When I drop off Donut at Spot On for daycare, they come down to rough her up and say hello. I could not have imagined a better adoption process and could not have even DREAMED I'd find a rescue that cares about their dogs and families a year after adoption. I recommend everyone I know to consider Garden Rescues when thinking about adoption. They are incredible and Donut and I are so lucky to have their care and friendship.
