Wow! I dropped off a spunky Cavapoo puppy with a lot of bad behaviors and two weeks later we took home a much calmer and well-behaved dog. We got Barron at 4.5 months old and he literally had zero prior training, so he was used to being his own boss which was not meshing with our busy household and our calm older dogs. Then in walks our trainer Christian, the puppy whisperer, and he built an instant rapport with our dog. Two weeks later, Barron is coming, sitting, heeling, placing and STAYING put - it’s like a puppy miracle! Christian is an amazing trainer and Big Paws of the Ozarks is the answer to our dog training prayers. This is our second time using their services - we had them train our two older adopted dogs, and Matt and his team of trainers are the best in NWA. If you have a dog or puppy in need of training, look no further than Big Paws of The Ozarks.

BPOZ has been incredible for our family! We first reached out for help with our 7 yr old Fezzik as he struggled with some anxiety and lack of confidence after his fur sister passed away and we hoped he could enjoy life more fully. We are endlessly grateful for Matt and Marshall and everyone at Big Paws that had a part in Fezzik’s Board & Train. Marshall kept us in the loop with texts, pictures and videos and has continued to be a support whenever we need it. It has made all the difference in Fezzik’s life! He’s such a happy old man! And BPOZ also helped us find his new sister, Velma! It’s been such a blast to see them bond and all of it because of what Big Paws has done for us! We can’t wait to get Velma in for some training too! We love them! If you’re considering it, know you won’t regret it! Best thing you could do for you and your pups!

We adopted our new fur-baby 3 weeks ago from Big Paws of The Ozarks. The process was smooth, and the benefits of adopting from BPO are amazing. Luna's vaccines, chip, spay, and training session have all been covered! Maisie and the team have been so kind and have checked in on us to see how the new pup has adjusted. I highly recommend Big Paws if you are looking to take in a new fur-baby!

We are FOREVER grateful to Big Paws for bringing us our Wally (formerly Cheeto). We're a little biased because my husband grew up with Matthew Newton but he did such a good job with him before coming to us. After only a short time being fostered by him and Kate (and Nova, Mira and Winnie) he already knows so much! After his first play session with our dog Addie, we knew we loved him but were hesitant because getting a second dog is a big commitment. We asked lots of clarifying questions to ensure he was the best fit for our family and because they had been with him they were able to help us make the best decision. But we knew that there was absolutely no pressure to keep him because we know that our friends and Big Paws only want what is best for their dogs and they truly believe in a perfect fit. The adoption process was so easy and streamlined which made it even sweeter. We will never be able to thank our good friends and Big Paws for our boy. He will be loved for his whole life and is the perfect little brother for our girl and has changed our lives forever - in the BEST way.

Big Paws has been amazing throughout the adoption process. We heard back quickly after submitting an application for our Noir. We were able to quickly set up a meet and greet with our other two dogs and also got to meet the folks who were fostering. After bringing her home, Big Paws has checked in regularly to see how she is adjusting to her new home and to offer support to us as we helped her transition into her new life. We have not yet taken advantage of our free training lesson but hope to soon! We are so thankful for Big Paws and for our sweet Noir who was given a second chance at life thanks to this great organization and their volunteers!

My Raven recently participated in the 2 week in home training with Marshall. She had been having severe behavioral issues. Marshall messaged me and sent pictures throughout the process; she was treated like a family member by him. Marshall sat down with my daughter and I for 3 hours after the completion of her training to give us the tools we need to keep up with her training. Thank you, Big Paws and Marshall, for such a good experience.
