Description Animal Services works to assure a community with a high rate of animals returned to their homes or natural environments or adopted to loving homes through our City Animal Shelter services. Our Adoption Center is open 10 am to 5: 30 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays. Animal Control services begin at 8 am, 7 days a week.

This place is wonderful! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and care about the animals. The animals are well kept and their spaces are clean. We adopted two beautiful beagle sisters here and are so thankful for the experience. Would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a furry friend.

We filled out an application, and they called us within minutes. We went down and looked at the Dog's, and had a favorite, but wanted to give all of the dogs a chance. But, we came back to our favorite dog, met him outside, and played with him, and we took him home in less than an hour total. Great staff, great experience, we are very grateful for our new dog. Thank you, Fayetteville Animal Services.

FAS was super helpful to me, clean, the staff was friendly and they were very prompt on calling me back about my interest in some kittens. I picked up my baby girl a couple of days ago and she has acclimated greatly to her new home and is just as sweet as could be. 10/10 place and 10/10 kitten.

Say what you will about control amd the shelter. My experience adopting /owning an escape artist dog that always stayed one step ahead of them. To my being attacked by a dog. They are always great to work with even when the circumstances suck. Always above and beyond on the service and care for public and the animals Keep up the great work/ service

Adopted out my sisters dog in less than 7 days. I didn't have time to retrieve the dog which upset me most. My sister has mental health problems and learning disabilities, so the decision to adopt the dog bc they didn't see her fit is almost heartless.
