Description Copeland Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1970 by John S Copeland, DVM. A native of the Upper Cumberland, Dr. Copeland built our practice on client care and patient wellness. We currently have 4 associate veterinarians and a large staff, all of whom are passionate about caring for your pet as if they were their own. We strive to offer premier medical care, including an in-house diagnostic lab, radiology center, and a 24/7 ICU team for our patients. Accidents can happen, and we offer 24-hour emergency response to care for patients at any time. Our staff is enthusiastic about preventative care and client education so that we may all improve the longevity and quality of life for pets and our community.

My dog got attacked by 2 dogs on Sunday at 2pm. and had to have his back leg amputated. Copelands was available they was loving generous, thoughtful, face paced, and did what they said they would do about staying in touch with me. His incision looks wonderful and is now home. I DEFINITELY recommend this vet. Thanks so much to you all, love Axle

Our dog Big Chungus is not an easy patient he's HUGE stressed in the car and was in pain from an ear infection 😢 they were great! Worked him in sedated him got him all taken care of and a plan for next visit!

The staff and doctor at Copeland were very gracious and understanding during a very traumatic experience. I was involved in a rear and collision. Woman struck me from behind at 60 mph and broke my Great Danes back. The doctor informed me that there was nothing that could be done and I asked him to please wait until I got out of the ER so I could be there to say goodbye.

I took my dog Daisy here from Crossville after being hit by a car. The staff was amazing and very efficient and knowledgeable. They kept her overnight for observation and called me the next day with updates. When we picked her up the next day they explained everything very professionally. Daisy is still recovering at home and doing very well thanks to Copelands. I highly recommend!

I took my dog Mabel there after she had been rescued from a bad situation. She is a full blooded medium poodle, but had been purchased for breeding and was shipped to Tennessee and had her tail damaged during transport. Dr. Montana Oliver took wonderful care of her!!! She got her spayed, fixed her tail, did a full workup and got set up on monthly meds for flea/tick, etc. I 100% recommend this practice and especially Dr. Oliver!!!

I’ve been taking my pets here for over a decade. My favorite vet I’ve seen there moved away a couple years ago. However, I’ve recently seen the younger Dr. Copeland and he was awesome! He was extremely thorough explaining every detail with the issues with both of my dogs that I brought in on 2 separate occasions for different problems. He’s very passionate and knowledgeable about his profession. I left there feeling great about the information I received and knowing how to help my dogs. He spent the time to help us like patients in need.
