I have come to this barn for over 11 years. I have attended most of the exotic sales and over the past year most of the Tuesday sales. The Wilson’s and staff are very much like a second family to me. I have met some of my favorite lifelong friends in this barn. I myself, and many other animal lovers I’ve been able to start wonderful petting zoos and educational programs in communities all across the nation from the fine stock brought to these sales from some of the very best sellers all across the country. I love triple w! ****Please note that the photos I have attached are not from the barn itself. They are simply of the beautiful animals I’ve bought from the sale**
Love the exotic sale but you must pay for reserved seat if you want to get a seat $10 each day. $5 admission at the gate except antique sale Monday nights during exotic sale week need to call reserve a seat . Livestock were treated great I had stubborn donkeys and cattle, miniature horses etc all were handled great. Everybody is friendly. Great place to see some nice exotics. They had like 1000 cows Tuesdays sale it was crazy long day I left 9 pm sale went on few more hours.
Always friendly staff and I won't take my animals anywhere else to sell. Good food from the little kitchen, it has great prices. I always drink the zero sugar soda and they have the sprite and coke zeros. If I could change anything from today,0 it would be the 10 dollar charge each animal sold. First time they did that.
This facility is HORRIBLE! What I witnessed there can't be unseen. A guy beating a donkey into a chute with a stick, what's bad is he was truly enjoying his job, sick and sadistic. A KID way to big riding a pony reaching back a twisting his tail he was holding onto so the pony would run around the sale arena...fabulous way to be raising a decent human being, countless animals in horrid conditions. Openly beating, kicking abusing the animals. It was sickening. I do understand the need for sales, but this place was an animals hell on earth. It's despicable they are even allowed to be there. Very evident from their FB posts threatening people they ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE VIDEOS OR PHOTOS. They can justify it all they want, but if what went on there got our, alot more people would be knocking down their doors. It's disgusting.
Apparently money is the only thing that matters to this business. Animals have always been an important part of our history and our lives. There is room for all of us. Share the wealth and let Horse Plus back in to do God's work.
The auction itself is a fun, amazing, and eventful place. The only concern of mine is that Wes is too aggressive with the animals. Throwing the goats/sheep against the fence, kicking them, picking them up by the tails and throwing them, and picking up the goats/sheep by the skin and throwing them also. When he rides he gives the horses mixed signals. Yanking his reins back while kicking. Any decent rider knows that is not remotely ok. I grew up on a ranch and have dealt with horses and livestock for many years. What Wes has been doing to these animals is wrong.
