My family has only had good experiences here. The staff are kind, helpful, & work so hard to care for all of the animals. My husband and I found all 3 of our cats here. It took time by looking for several days in a row, even waiting a few weeks, to make sure we found good fits for our other kitties. Here are some pictures of our 3 healthy cats we've adopted from here over the past two years. Lily is in the first pic (she is gray, now 2 years old). Azula is in the second pic (she is black/brown, now 1 year old). Leo is in the third pic (he is gray/white, now 5 months old).
Luckily I got my cat back, after they ignored my plea for it being lost. I had to get the police involved. Do be mindful that this company does go by proof, but if it's forged.. they won't know. I saved all my calls and videos.** I do not reccomend taking an animal here (dog) either, my co-worker adopted one that was horribly sick--yet she being a certified vet was able to nurse her to health. Very disappointing this place. I do NOT accept nor expect a proper or any response. Will IGNORE. Go to KY for animal care, they are very serious than TN and this area. Good day.
The women who work here are nasty and incredibly rude. They will lie to your face and take any animal you bring in with no intention of letting you adopt if the owner can’t be found. I recommend finding the owners of the pet yourself or getting the pets microchip scanned at a vet.
Adopted my Princess Stella from here. I decided to do a walk-in at this shelter and funny enough they were having an adoption event that day. The shelter volunteers were very kind and actually were the ones to introduce me to her. My son and I are so happy we have her…the adoption process was smooth and we left with Stella that day, we were even given a couple of things to get us started since I had nothing for her at the moment. If I do plan to get another cat it would most likely be from here. I would highly recommend going to the shelter and viewing the adoptable animals.
I came in march of 2024 and I came to adopt a black lab named Luna i think i know it was something to do with astrology i am pretty sure me and my grandmother had signed the paperwork and were on our way to see if our dog would get along with the dog we were adopting we called cus we were running a little late and I kid you not they said o her yeah she walked out with a family early today and we had already signed everything on the paper work and I know this isn't the first time this has happened conceding there were multiple reviews saying the same thing yall are sick and twisted they didn't even put a thing saying she was adopted I hope all know how bad that hurt me I had been sitting outside with that dog for at least 2 hours while my grandmother signed the paper work
We got our first dog from animal control and we are aware of the kennel cough that may come with adopting from a dog pound. We decided to adopt another dog and did so a few weeks ago. The dog is riddled with ticks and worms. No kennel cough but the reason for his cough is lung worms. He also has hook worms and whipworms. I contacted them to let them know but they seemed to not care at all about what we found. I was told that "he is yours now". These dogs need more care and attention and employees that actually care about animals. Condescending manager, Samantha, and an uncaring director, dj kaske. We won't be adopting from this staff and if anybody is thinking about adopting from here, please think twice. Look elsewhere as these animals are definitely not being properly cared for and it's the animals that suffer. There is no excuse for what happened and no responsibility taken.
