Description The Northeast Kansas Animal Welfare Foundation is a charitable organization which exists to improve the lives of companion pet animals. We support the mission of animal welfare organizations. Your support allows us to award shelters and rescues with such things as grants, professional development, technology upgrades, financial aid for emergency veterinary care, and so much more. We're here to help ensure that shelters and rescues are able to maximize their lifesaving potential. Our goal is to assist pets in poverty, alleviate financial burdens on animal welfare organizations, fight abuse and neglect, and ensure a more compassionate future.

NKAWF is a wonderful organization to be involved with. They work to create a better environment for the animals in Northeast Kansas and are clearly passionate about what they do. It is so encouraging to know that the donations they recieve go to not just one shelter or rescue, but can be dispersed between multiple animal welfare organizations, therefore helping even more animals! Being involved with this foundation has been incredibly rewarding and I look forward to seeing all that they continue to accomplish.

NKAWF is a great organization! The team does a great job of bringing awareness to the counties served. They find ways to help and support the local shelters whether it be with financial grants or helpful tools and information to better the enviroment for the animals and staff.
