Amazing Doctor and staff! As an animal lover and rescuer of many animals in my lifetime I have had many veterinary experiences. Animal Clinic of the 4 States is hands down the best animal practice I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. I have a very mean disabled cat that Dr.Steinbach takes the best care of even if he is rude as heck to her staff.

This was AnnaLisa’s first full round of shots plus they addressed her other medical issues. She had recently developed a wound on her face that appeared bloodied. They shaved that area so that it could heal up naturally. They expressed her anal glands. We discussed gut and diet along with oral rinse for her dental maintenance. The team provided literature of suggested product brands to help her improve and maintain good health. I was also given instructions about possible allergy reactions (swelling of the face) to be aware of. My dog came In excited and left the same way. It was a great and informative visit. The staff is nice. The vet is a very caring doctor who interacts with the animals well. Doctor’s handling of the animals and their eagerness to please is evident we have the right veterinary clinic.

We took our new dog, Breezy, acquired from the Joplin Humane Society there for a mandated wellness check. Everyone was friendly and professional, genuinely cared about our dog, answered questions and made numerous suggestions for getting us and her up to speed in our home. Haven't had a vet since Main Street Pet closed last year but will definitely be returning here.

This vet dropped the ball on my dog. Scheduled for a surgery and was canceled because they failed to get medical records from another vet. This vet wanted to do xrays when I had current xrays and exam. My dog was peeing 95 percent blood and they delayed care for 10 days. Could have already been seen elsewhere. The tech was heartless and didn't care about my pet. Also didn't like I had to drop off my dog to be seen instead of examining her with me present.

To say I'm so THANKFUL for Dr. Steinbach, DVM and the staff at Animal Clinic of the Four States is an understatement. They are an Amazing team and so compassionate. They got my sweet Bella in immediately and have explained everything very throughly. I Highly recommend them.

Animal clinic of the 4 states made me feel like family. The service is friendly, efficient, reasonable, personable, and caring. The Technicians and the Veterinarian in charge seem to genuinely care about your pet as if they were their own. These qualities have made me confident that my pets are getting the best possible treatment and services. I would highly recommend them for your veterinary needs.
