I had to take my dog into Vista after hours over the weekend due to a toxic substance she may have consumed (she’s doing much better). The Vista staff were efficient, helpful, and caring to both me and my pup through this ordeal. The vet did not try to upsell me on services and gave honest recommendations that put me at ease. The front desk staff were friendly and tried to make the visit more comfortable for me and my dog. I highly recommend and will absolutely feel safe bringing my dog back in case of emergency. Thank you Vista team!

We paid over 1000 dollars for our baby’s broken leg, he has to have an appointment every 2 weeks which are not cheap! To replace his cast. This is the third consecutive day we had to go in to replace his cast as it keeps falling off! That’s ridiculous. Our baby is small and tiny, we were told his recovery is crucial and he must be safe as it could lead to surgery, now imagine we had not been home each time the cast has fallen off and he got hurt? Would they cover the surgery caused by their mistake? Absolutely not. My baby is traumatized from this place, who knows how long he had been left crying before he was taken care of! He just came home, and he won’t even wag his tail. My dad heard his cries while there. Like seriously the 3rd day in a row! We deserve more than apology, which we didn’t even receive.

My poor older kitty had kidney problems. When we brought her in, the staff was so courteous and kind. When they determined her prognosis was not good, they let us stay with her for a while longer. She had to be put down, which devastated us. Everyone was so kind and understanding. They walked us through everything that would happen and what we needed to do afterwards. We had paid the full amount of the estimated costs, which was quite reasonable, so there was some left over after the cremation fees were paid. They didn't give us any trouble about refunding it. We ended up using it to get memorial necklaces. If anything, Heaven forbid, were to happen to our second kitty, we would definitely go back to them.

Vista did what others could not. My primary care told us prepare for our loves passing. 16 year old, bully breed, beautiful, happy girl. Doctor did his best and things got complicated. A week later we expected to have to say goodbye to our little monster (Alexandra Amanda). Doctor Sarah Cocherell gave us the honest, fair possibilities. Then during her operation Sarah found a way to save our girl... and did. She is now home with us happily recovering. And we are so thankful for professional and caring work Doctor Sarah did. The staff at Vista are empathetic and true pet lovers. And they will do everything they can to help your pets needs. "Dogs are not our whole lives, but we are theirs."

I’m Seriously! Disappointed! Spent over 5 hours waiting and then I asked how much longer and they said my baby was next, only 2 have 3 people walk in and get a room and there was 2 females that were working in the front that kinda chuckled to each other and I asked if I was next and 1 said yes but then says something about cpr on another animal, (which I totally understand as I never want to see an animal suffer) but I also watched them walking other animals back no problem before my baby again. I guess my baby isn’t important enough. It’s sad as I brought her in because she hasn’t been eating or drinking for a couple days now and I don’t want anything to happen to her. I thought so highly of Vista Veterinary Hospital. I’m just so disappointed how so many good businesses have been going downhill in this city!! WTH happened to businesses here!! Is everything a corporation/or based off of a district?!! I brought my other cat here years ago and he spent 2 weeks with you guys and I had the upmost respect 🫡 for Vista, until this time, It’s a little sad and disheartening. I’m just worried about my baby and I didn’t really feel the compassion from (some) of the people who worked for your hospital. 1 bad apple can spoil the barrel. Do better for the sake of your worried pet parents and of course the animals who can’t speak for themselves. Thank You.

We couldn’t have had a better experience at Vista. We had just come from another emergency veterinary hospital and were sent away after waiting for an hour due to too many critical animals coming in. We called ahead to come into Vista and were told our pup could be seen. In the meantime more critical animals came in and quickly overwhelmed Vista. Worried we were going to be sent away from another vet, we were advised that we would be seen but there would be a wait. Considering there were other animals in greater need, we were more then okay with that. Despite being so busy and tired, our pup received nothing but the best care from the entire staff. Thank you to everyone at Vista for treating us and our puppy so well! He’s back to normal and playing again. Your love for animals clearly shows with the amazing care you provide.
