I took my two boxers here for their very first Groom. They are both 5 years old and never been to a groomer (their coats are short so low maintenance). I recently had back surgery so bending and clipping nails and bathing them is a painful if not impossible task. Animal House got us in super quick. This place is a well-oiled machine. They bathed, brushed, cleaned ears, expressed anal glands, and clipped nails. I was anxious about the dog’s experience so when I, impatiently, called to check in, the staff was very sweet and gave me a positive update. I like that I drop them off at the designated time and they call me when they are ready! We don’t groom or board often but if we do in the future this is where we’ll go.

My Jac was way overdue for a haircut. I couldn't groom him any longer. My Little cockapoo became a biting, territorial, Little boy. Vet gave me meds to chill him out and he got a good boy report card. Every 10 weeks for a groom is our plan. They did an exceptional job!!

I spoke to two individuals on the grooming side: one at time of making a first ever appointment and one to cancel. Both were not the person I would let answer my phones to maintain a growing business. I don’t think I’ve ever called a business, been asked when I want to bring my dog in without being offered availability options/ideas of times when letting them know I was new, and then responded to with a snide “Well that’s not the day you said so now I have to go back into the computer and look again” when the first day and times she offered me (after I basically guessed and had 0 clue my dog would be a double visit due to size) didn’t work. My gut told me if they can’t be nice to me on the phone even if under the stress of day to day business, then it’s not a place I want my dog. Calling to cancel confirmed this gut feeling when the employer yelled about how loud it was there and that she couldn’t hear me. (Felt a bit passive aggressive to whomever she was working with which tracks with how I was spoken to the first time.)

Friendly staff and they are always happy to see my fur baby! I have been bringing my Lab there for about 2 years now a few times a month to socialize. He also loves their outdoor pool in summer! He will get groomed there as well and the report cards you get afterwards are so cute!

We have brought our golden doodles there a few times and have been very satisfied. The staff seem to genuinely care about our dogs and the dogs seem happy when we pick them up. Fancy little report card is nice as well (see photo). We plan to continue to use Animal House for grooming.

We had to bring three dogs there to board last minute and they were available to help, showed very nice professionalism and courtesy when bringing the dogs in. I also asked for a tour which they did it was very nice. The facility is set up very nicely and we were excited to leave the dogs in a good facility!
