Such a great rescue!! I was anxious about my dog selective bully meeting a potential friend but we really want to rescue the perfect brother for her. The foster parents made us comfortable, and made sure it was a great experience for my dog as well. Even though we didn’t come home with a new family member today, I’m very grateful for the time they spent educating us about the dogs. I was sad to leave without the pup but we knew in our hearts it wasn’t the best fit for us - we are so grateful that they took the time to help us, and are hopeful we will find our new friend with this rescue soon. Thank you for all you do!!! ❤️
“Yaya” (Georgia) we have had her for a little over a year and we love her. She is a source of daily joy and playfulness. She is well adjusted to her new forever home. She is smart, cuddly and loves socializing and playing with other dogs.
This rescue seems fraudulent to me. I made multiple attempts to contact them and apply to adopt a dog, with no response. They list no phone number or address; only a Facebook page, which they don’t respond to unless you have negative feedback. That seems odd to me. When I complained about the lack of response, they spoke of their lack of manpower to address applications and inquiries, yet they had plenty of time to respond with multiple paragraphs of excuses, and ample time to request donations for dogs who are not even adoptable. There are plenty of great rescues out there who are transparent and welcome people to visit their facilities. Those are the ones we should be supporting!
We adopted a dog named Willy. We were given no adoption paperwork. We were told he was a 10 year old senior. We were told that he would need dental work and they would pay for it. After taking to pup they went back on the promise to take care of his dental. Our consult at the Vet said he is going to lose most of his teeth. All but 6. I’ve been tried emailing and messaging. No response, none. What kind of rescue is this? Unprofessional and false promises. We have adopted all of our dogs. Never have we ever been lied to by a rescue. We love Willy but, this is going to cost us 1K. Share the cost Rugaz! Be professional and contact us back. No paperwork for her with contact ## Willy also only has one eye. Again we do love him. Rugaz you should be ashamed.
Perfect fit for our family. Wish covers us with absolute joy and love. Adopting was a easy process. Your home visits before and after were very helpful. Thank you for the work you do.
Thank you for an amazing puppy, Starfire! My experience with the Rugaz Rescue was 5 stars! I so appreciate the volunteers and their commitment to these animals! Two lives are now changed for the better! I am telling all my animal loving friends to check you out when they are looking for a furever friend!
