Description Established in 1964 to find homes homes for cats and dogs. We are a nonprofit 501(3)(c) that relies solely on the kind donations of our community. Due to the high cost of running a shelter, we no longer offer medical care or have the capability of assisting with picking up stray animals. We are thankful for our volunteers that commit to endless hours of their time. Wednesday hours are for owner surrenders, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Contact the shelter by phone or email. Saturday adoption hours are 12:00pm-4:00pm, no appointment necessary!

We adopted our fur baby from here. It was clean. Animals were well taken care of. You can tell the staff really cares about the animals. They were efficient and got our application approved quickly so we could bring our new family member home. They even gave us a goodie bag with some toys and a leash when picking up. If you're considering a new pet, please consider giving a life that needs your help a home from the SPCA. We are very happy with our new rescue.

The people at the front desk were so helpful and ready to answer any questions I had. They were polite and friendly. The office and animal areas were clean. They really care for the animals. If you visit, talk to them. They shelter also requests references and vet information just like the rescues do. I think it is a great idea and again, shows you how much they care.

I just love visiting here just to see all the new & old fur babies they have! It puts a huge smile on my face. I love animals especially cats; which I do have one of my own, his name is Drake & he's a Russian Blue. Keep up the outstanding work you guys do there becuz those fur babies depend on ya's & your institution is crucial to their survival..thank you for all you do 😀

Everyone was very patient and helpful throughout my whole adoption process. You can see the love and care they have for every animal that walks through their doors. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you are looking for your forever friend!
